Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
We get a seven-game slate tonight, one filled with a lot of landmines. My first advice will be to play light as there are too many moving parts and unknowns close to the trade deadline. With that in mind, let’s take a look at what is a weak bench tonight.
Our own CashKeg returned with a bang! He might consider being under the weather a little more (I KID! I KID!)
There’s some winning going on in #pga-talk! Check it out and get in on some golf action!

CORE PLAYS
PG – Patty Mills (4300/4200): With DeRozan, Aldridge, and White out, Mills leads the team in usage and has a pretty solid ppm value to go along with it. He is perhaps the biggest beneficiary on the Spurs in this scenario. The increased minutes, production and price make him a solid core and value play tonight.
PF – Bobby Portis (6800/5900): Portis continues to get solid minutes off the bench. He’ll be needed today to deal with Okafor and will see 25-30 minutes. This is more than enough time for him to hit value. He has been priced up on both sites, limiting his upside. He is more of a cash play at this price tonight.
PF – Jeff Green (5800/5000): Jeff Green has been on fire since returning to the bench. He has gone for 42, 31.6, and 42.5 FDPs in 29, 33, and 36 MPG respectively over his last 3. Green will play no matter the scoreline, and if somehow Ariza gets moved tonight, he’ll get even more minutes than he is currently getting. Either way, he is a solid hybrid play tonight. Especially on DK, where he is too cheap for his recent production.
GPP PLAYS
SG – Malik Monk (4600/3800): Monk has been getting 20-25 minutes recently and has been hitting value with those minutes. With Tony Parker out tonight, he could be in line for another 25 minutes. The minutes increase coupled with the matchup against the Mavs, makes him a nice value GPP punt play here tonight. He is a little pricey on FD, but his price on DK is good. Just keep in mind that Monk is on the trade block, so be careful.
SG – Jordan McRae (4100/3400): McRae had himself a wonderful night two days ago, helping some lucky guy win 100k. Tonight he finds himself as a hot commodity in a game that most think will blowout. In such a scenario, McRae will get a lot of garbage time minutes and he has shown he can score with those minutes. He is a GPP only play tonight. On FD he makes for a drop score candidate. On DK, he is best used if MMEing.
SF – Jabari Parker (3900/4200): I love me some Jabari Parker tonight. Let’s get this out of the way first. He is a drop score candidate on FD, and a GPP only target on DK. I love him on FD, and will only play him on DK if MMEing. Parker has missed the last 2 games due to a death in the family. He has rejoined the team and will be looking to get back into the flow of things. The matchup tonight is fantastic, and we all know the upside Parker has. There’s a lot to like here in GPPs.
PF – DJ Wilson (3500/3400): Wilson has been quietly racking up minutes off the bench for the Bucks. He is averaging 22 MPG over his last 3 games. In a game that could blowout by the third quarter, Wilson could be in line to see 22-25 minutes tonight. At min-price on FD, he makes for a nice drop score play in GPPs with upside. He is also cheap on DK, making him a value GPP punt play there too.
Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
