DFS NBA Lineup Strategies - Blande's 6th Man - Draftkings and Fanduel Advice Feb 28th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

We are back with a crazy six-game slate today. There has been a little change to the 6th Man content. This article will focus mainly on Fanduel. The players and the discussion will pertain directly to Fanduel. This does not mean they are not viable on Draftkings as well, just that you’ll have to figure out if the prices work for Draftkings. With that out of the way, let’s take a deep dive into what this slate has to offer off the bench.

6th Men of the Day

PG – Derrick Rose ($5,600): Teague is once again questionable and likely to miss today’s game. Rose continues to play right around 25 minutes, lending more credence to my suspicion that he is on an unofficial minutes limit. His low minutes total is worrying, relegating him to a strictly GPP play tonight.

PG – Emmanuel Mudiay ($5,900): Mudiay gets a great matchup tonight against the Cavs. In his 3 games since returning from injury, Mudiay has gone for 31 FDPs twice. At his price and given the upside he possesses, he makes for a good GPP play on this slate. It’s GPP only because it is the Knicks.

SG – Terrence Ross ($5,300): I love Ross tonight. The Warriors have had some trouble defending overall lately, and Ross is the type of player who can exploit this weakness. He burned a lot of people last time out and with all the injury news, he could potentially go very low-owned here. He makes for a nice hybrid and GPP play.

SG – Jordan Clarkson ($5,300): Clarkson continues to produce off the bench for the Cavs. He gets a great matchup against the Knicks here tonight. The Knicks don’t really have anyone to guard him here. Clarkson has tremendous upside and is really cheap here, making him a great low-owned GPP target.

C – Mitchell Robinson ($7,400): Mitchell Robinson has been on fire (47.3 and 60.8 FDPs in his last 2) since Jordan went out. Today he gets an excellent matchup against the Cav who are without Tristan Thompson. He should feast here, making him an excellent all-format play on this slate.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
