DFS NBA Lineup Strategies - Blande's 6th Man - Draftkings and Fanduel Advice Feb 22nd

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Yes! We are back from ASB and the mandated NBA DFS rest. It is going to be a bumpy ride throughout the 2nd half of the NBA season, but we are here to guide you through it. Make use of all the resources we have to offer, beginning with the Daily Gamebreak Article, and all the other rotating pieces out there. With that said, let’s take a look at the top 6th Men on this wonderful nine-game slate tonight!

Nascar is back and the DFS Army is once more at the top! Congrats to Shaptown88 for this win!

CORE PLAYS

PG – Kadeem Allen (4200/4800): Allen is averaging 32.2 DKPs in 26.4 MPG over his last 3 games. In fact, he has gone for over 27 DKPs in each of his last 4 games. Allen is getting heavy minutes off the bench as the Knicks focus on developing their young guns. This is a fantastic spot for him at an excellent price given the matchup against the Wolves. He is a much better play on FD where he is too cheap but is still viable on DK.

SG – Lou Williams (8300/7100): Sweet Lou has finally been priced correctly on FD. I’m sure during the ASB they had a look at the model and decided to adjust some parameters specifically for Sweet Lou. The matchup for him is an interesting one with Avery Bradley now with the Grizzlies. It’s hard to pay for him on FD at that price, but on DK he is viable in this matchup and is a core play. He will get all the usage on the 2nd unit and around 30 mins.

PF – Bobby Portis (6700/6200): This one is simple. The Hornets suck at guarding the 4 and 5, Bobby Portis has been on fire since joining the Wizards. Portis recently hung 48.8 FDPs on the Hornets in his last game as a Bull, watch for him to go for something similar in their first matchup with him as a Wizard. I’m all in on this play on both sites.

GPP PLAYS

PG – Isaiah Briscoe (3500/3500): I won’t blame you if you hadn’t noticed, but Briscoe has basically been splitting PG minutes with DJ Augustin. He is averaging 25 MPG over his last four and has gone for 22+ DKPs in three of those games. He makes for an excellent drop score candidate on FD with upside and a nice GPP punt play on FD.

SG – Terrence Ross (5500/5300): Ross continues to be a huge part of the Magic offense off the bench. He is the number one scoring option off the bench and continues to play extremely well for the Magic. He has gone for 25+ DKPs in 5 of his last 6 games, with two of them being over 42 DKPs. He also benefits from the matchup against the Bulls being an easy one for him to exploit. Love the play on both sites.

SF – Jabari Parker (5600/5500): We all know Parker is a 4 or 40 FP guy. Be warned when deciding to roster him. That said, Parker has been on fire since moving to Washington. He has gone for over 39 DKPs in 3 of his 4 games with the Wizards. He makes for an excellent GPP option tonight in a great matchup. The only reason he isn’t a core play is his tendency to lay duds every now and again.

PF – JaMychal Green (4300/3400): Green has averaged 23 MPG since moving to the Clippers. He gets a matchup against his former team who are currently light when it comes to bigs. He is in line for 20-25 minutes tonight and his price tag is low enough to make him a good option tonight in GPPs. He is a drop-score option on FD. I also like him as a punt option on DK.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
