DFS NBA Lineup Strategies - Blande's 6th Man - Draftkings and Fanduel Advice Feb 21st

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Yes! We are back from ASB and the mandated NBA DFS rest. It is going to be a bumpy ride throughout the 2nd half of the NBA season, but we are here to guide you through it. Make use of all the resources we have to offer, beginning with the Daily Gamebreak Article, and all the other rotating pieces out there. With that said, let’s take a look at the top 6th Men on this wonderful six-game slate tonight!

Nascar is back and the DFS Army is once more at the top! Congrats to Shaptown88 for this win!

CORE PLAYS

SG – Jaylen Brown (4500/4700): In his last two games against the Bucks, Brown has gone for 37.8 and 44.4 FDPs against them. The 44 FP effort was this season in just 30 minutes. With Gordon Hayward unlikely to play tonight, Brown will receive around 30 minutes of play time, making him an elite option off the bench on both FD and DK.

SG – Bogdan Bogdanovic (5600/4500): Bogdanovic is massively underpriced on DK today. In three games against the Warriors this season, Bogdan is averaging 27.6 DKPs in 32.1 MPG. It is true that most of this is driven by his 42 DKPs effort in the last meeting. That said, 4.5k is just too cheap for someone of his talents. He should have no problem meeting value today in this matchup.

PF – Larry Nance Jr. (7500/7200): Yes, Nance is expensive! Yes, I still love him at that price. He gets a phenomenal matchup against the Suns and barring any unforeseen events, is locked into 30-35 minutes here. This is more than enough time for him to hit value against a poor defensive team. He makes for an excellent cash game play here tonight.

GPP PLAYS

SG – Jordan Clarkson (6500/5700): The price bump Clarkson received on FD after his 64 FP outing is more than enough to hold down his ownership. The matchup against the Suns is fantastic as they can’t defend anyone. Clarkson will receive 25-30 minutes off the bench and gets to control the second unit, making him an excellent GPP option on both FD and DK.

SF – Gerald Green (3700/3800): With Iman Shumpert out, Gerald Green will be in line to play mid-to-upper 20 minutes tonight. The Lakers have issues defending wing players, making Green a nice GPP option if his shot is falling. He makes for a nice drop-score candidate on FD, and that’s probably the only place I want him except if MMEing on DK.

PF – Marquesse Chriss (4700/4500): This is one revenge narrative I’ll be chasing. Chriss spent 2016-2018 with the Suns before being unceremoniously dumped to the Houston graveyard. After digging himself out of that hole and falling into the thorny gardens of the Cavs, he gets a shot at the Suns tonight. He will get 20-25 minutes off the bench with Thompson out and Love on a minute limit. You can be sure he’ll come out there to make a statement. Love him on both sites in GPPs.

PF – Richaun Holmes (3700/3600): I always love Holmes when he is going against teams that like playing big. With the big bodies the Cavs have to throw around, Holmes could see himself playing around 20 minutes tonight. Given his high ppm numbers, that is all he needs to crush value. Love him as a drop-score candidate on FD and if MMEing.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
