Hi there! I’m Aaron/AFriedman15 (@AFriedman15DFS) and this is my debut Friedman’s Dirty Dozen, where I will include 12ish of my favorite plays, using information from the DFS Army NBA Research Station (RS), StatMuse, and NBA WOWY. Some days, when there is a smaller slate, there will be fewer picks. I will generally list them in order of personal preference. My research is focused around DK and the DK Research station, so keep that in mind. Players may be viable to varying degrees at the other sites as well. Karl-Anthony Towns: My preferred stud to build around. Averaging 48.5 DKFP in 7 games against the Lakers since December 2017. Two of the last three were 60+ DK burgers.
Jrue Holiday: Holiday is my favorite backcourt play of the night and he moves ahead of Booker for me with Anthony Davis, Moore, and Mirotic all out for tonight. In the small samples without Davis/Moore/Mirotic. Holiday has averaged 1.42 DKPPM without the three and Randle is at 1.35. Randle is a fine play too, but I like having a PG/SG better if picking 1 tonight.
Dragan Bender: In the without Ayton/Holmes/Warren sample, Dragan Bender is at 1.09 DKFP so if he gets the same 29-30 minutes without Ayton and Holmes, he is squarely in play in all-formats at $4,600. Holmes is OUT. Keep an eye on the news for Ayton who remains questionable.
Jahlil Okafor: The Duke product is the hottest player on the slate according to the DFS Army NBA DraftKings Research Station. His price has only climbed $300 despite his vastly increased role with Anthony Davis injured. Okafor has played 66 minutes in the past two games and averaging 1.16 FPPM over the last two games.
DeMarcus Cousins: Cousins has a great And1 rating/ $ in the DS and is projected for 1.44 FPPM tonight, which is 5th on the slate (below). The tools say he’s a great play and I am going to keep clipping his coupon until he is much more expensive.

Kelly Oubre: Oubre is $5,700, which is not the sexiest price on the slate, but he is projected for his standard 29 mins on the DS. Will he be in line for more minutes today with TJ Warren out for tonight game? Per NBA WOWY, over the last month, without Ayton/Warren/Holmes, Oubre leads the Suns with 1.23 DKPPM and 28.7 % USG. 1.23 x 29 minutes would return 35.67 DK, which is over 6x.
Dennis Schroder: After Okafor’s two big nights, Schroder is actually cheaper than Okafor and I love him in cash at just $4,800. He is the 3rd ranked value on the RS, which projects him at 29 DKFP.
Andrew Wiggins: Checks in right below Booker as the #4 value per the DS and I like him as a hammer play. He has played very well at Staples over the past two years, averaging 37.9 DKPPG in 9 games at Staples.
Otto Porter: Checks a ton of boxes for me tonight. In two of his last three games vs. GSW, he went for 29 and 10 with 51+ DKFP. As you can see in the RS he is top 10 in DKPTs vs. Opp. He is also starting to get starter minutes following his return from injury. He is #1 in Bump in Minutes, and has responded well with+9.42 DK FP in his last 3 games/compared to his last 10 games. Healthy Otto is a $7k plus player, so I think there is still some meat on the bone.
Devin Booker: Booker also benefits with Warren’s absence and his price has dropped to $7,500. If you look at the DS, Booker is 64% to 5x (3rd on the slate)and 36% to 6x (6th on the slate). In the same small sample without Ayton/Warren/Holmes, Booker is at 1.11 DKFP, so I really like him in cash games here.
Derrick Rose: Rose benefits again with Teague out for tonight. As Coach Blande mentioned in #nba-breaking news, Rose has a 35.7% usage rate with Teague and Tyus Jones off of the court.
Darius Miller: As Coach Blande mentioned in #nba-breaking news, Miller is averaging 0.84 PPM in this split and the Sim model is projecting him for 32 minutes. The projection would amount to roughly 27 DK points, but even if you get 18-19, you’d be pretty happy with that at. Anything above that is a bonus.
