Hi there! I’m Aaron/AFriedman15 (@AFriedman15DFS) and this is my first week of Friedman’s Dirty Dozen, where I will include 12ish of my favorite plays, using information from the DFS Army NBA Research Station (RS), NBA WOWY, and other sources. Some days, when there is a smaller slate, there will be fewer picks. I will generally list them in order of personal preference. My research is focused around DK and the DK Research station, so keep that in mind. Players may be viable to varying degrees at the other sites as well. I will generally try to write Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Weekends, but I may have some spare time on other days as well. On the days I write, you can generally find me in #cash-keg-nfl-cfb-nba
Nikola Jokic: Simply put, Nikola Jokic has the highest ceiling on the slate. He is the DS’ top projected scorer of the night, top And1 rating, and top 5 in DKFP vs. Opposition. While the Nuggets sit as 8-point favorites, I am not worried about a blowout, and even then, if it is a blowout, it will most likely result in Jokic putting in a huge score. The Joker is a starting point for me in all cash lineups.
What To Expect Today — CeeGee’s 1st Look!
Damian Lillard: At $8,500 and a slate-high 5 days of rest, Damian Lillard one of the safest plays on the slate. Lillard has averaged 47.16 DKFP in 14 games versus Utah since the 2015-16 season. In the three meetings so far this season, Lillard is averaging 39.75 points per game. Dame Dollar also benefits with a price reduction in tonight’s matchup. He is hitting value at this $8,500 price tag at a 55% clip. While your competitors overlook this close hammer game, Lillard is a viable anchor tonight and I will try pairing Jokic and Lillard in a lot of lineups.
Will Barton (if Gary Harris out): News broke in the early afternoon that Gary Harris is questionable, which assuming he misses tonight’s game, Barton gets a 4.4 % usage bump and if the game remains close, he should push for 35 minutes. Furthermore, if Harris is out, Barton becomes the primary ball handler. I absolutely love Barton on Yahoo for just $21.
Marvin Bagley III: Marvin Bagley is one of our top value plays with the Sacramento Kings implied for a slate-high 120.3 points. Bagley is one of my favorite rookies to watch outside of Luka Doncic and I am encouraged to see him pushing 30 minutes. Bagley is firmly in play on Yahoo for $18.
Bogdan Bogdanovic: Bogdanovic is one of the safest value plays on the board for just $5,500 on DK and $21 on Yahoo. Like his teammates, Bogdanovic benefits from the plus matchup.
D’Aaron Fox: With the slate high O/U, Fox is one of my favorite plays. I am very comfortable paying for him under $8,000. Fox has the third highest And1 ratings on the slate.

Jaylen Brown: At $4,700, Jaylen Brown is my favorite sub-$5,000 play. While Terry Rozier has been priced up to $6,100, Brown remains an upside play, averaging nearly a FPPM without Kyrie Irving. With 30 projected minutes, Brown is an all-format play for me.
Tim Frazier: Fraizer did not appear in the early version of our tools, but with Elfrid Payton out for tonight’s game, Frazier is likely to get another 20 minutes and could be in line to close the game, as he did yesterday.
Kenrich Williams: If we get word he is starting, then all in. Otherwise, he makes for a great FD PF drop score.

Aaron Holiday: GPP only, but I like him as a pivot off of Frazier or Frank Jackson.
Wayne Ellington (if Tyler Johnson out): If Tyler Johnson is out, Wayne Ellington will start against the hapless Bulls for $3,500. Ellington is only in play if we get word that Johnson is out.
Justise Winslow (if Tyler Johnson out): I like having Winslow going up against the Bulls, who have one of the worst defensive efficiencies in the league. Winslow is the team’s defacto point guard, so not a bad price for a ton of touches. You could also go Terry Rozier here too.
