Hi there! I’m Aaron/AFriedman15 (@AFriedman15DFS) and this is my first week of Friedman’s Dirty Dozen, where I will include 12ish of my favorite plays, using information from the DFS Army NBA Research Station (RS), NBA WOWY, and other sources. Some days, when there is a smaller slate, there will be fewer picks. I will generally list them in order of personal preference. My research is focused around DK and the DK Research station, so keep that in mind. Players may be viable to varying degrees at the other sites as well. I will generally try to write Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Weekends, but I may have some spare time on other days as well. On the days I write, you can generally find me in #cash-keg-nfl-cfb-nba

Karl-Anthony Towns: Fortunately, we can play multiple centers on DK and Yahoo because tonight I want to go after both centers in tonight’s Utah @ Minnesota game, a return game from the same matchup Friday in Salt Lake City. This will be the third game of the season between the Jazz and T-Wolves. In the first game, KAT went for 64 DKFP and on Friday, perhaps more impressively, KAT posted 60 DK points in just 29 minutes of work due to foul trouble. The RS has KAT projected for 37 minutes and as long as he stays out of foul trouble, he should absolutely smash.
What To Expect Today — CeeGee’s 1st Look!
Rudy Gobert: One center from this game will not be enough as Rudy Gobert has crushed in the matchup as well, averaging 52.88 DK FP in the season series. At $8,500, his price remains the same. Per dollar, he is just as strong of a play as KAT.
LaMarcus Aldridge: DeRozan would have been a great play here, but now he’s out to the benefit of Aldridge. Washington bleeds points, and as you can see in CeeGee’s First Look, the Spurs have the top pace up match-up and are going against one of the worst defenses in the league. There may be enough value where you could run all three of KAT, Towns, and Aldridge .
Rajon Rondo: Rondo had the largest price increase on the slate, but he is and now Kuzma is questionable dealing with a sore hip. Even with the increase, I still really like his upside and he leads the team in FPPM without Kuzma, LBJ, and Ball.

Jerryd Bayless: The leader in our Who’s Hot and Bump in Minutes reports, Bayless is in line for another big showing, especially if Derrick Rose, who is questionable, misses a second consecutive game tonight. He has been priced up from $3,600 to $4,400, but he is still seeing all the minutes he can handle.

Dion Waiters: Waiters was in my article on Friday, but he was ultimately held out with migraines. Today he is cleared from the Heat’s injury report and ranks as our top value on the slate. To add to his case, Tyler Johnson is questionable with a calf injury. Waiters is one of the Heat’s top fantasy PPM performers in this split and if Johnson is out, I love his price tag.

For those who don’t know, golf season has begun, and our DFS Army staff is top notch. Shoutout to maxi1_000_000 for this excellent win!

Kelly Oubre Jr.: Coach Blande wrote him up and I like him a lot too with TJ Warren out for the next few weeks, Melton out, and Holmes and Ayton questionable. He has been a very steady performer of late and I like him a lot as an upgrade over DSJ (below)
Dennis Smith Jr.: After a stint on the trading block, the Mavs seem to have made amends with their 2017 1st round draft pick and he has played heavy minutes (36 and 37) the past two games and is coming off of a day of rest. While he doesn’t have a huge upside, I am comfortable with his minutes and his status as a top value play. Smith is best used as a DK cash play. He is not an option on FD at $5,900.
.

Otto Porter: I wrote Porter up for Friday, and he was not great finishing with 10 real points and 21.5 DKFP. His price hasn’t budged and he is still getting the starter minutes. Otto has not had a big game in a couple weeks, but he is locked into his minutes and I am willing to take a chance on him again. Porter also checks out as a solid value on the slate.

Trey Burke: In somewhat of a departure from the models, I prefer Trey Burke over Allonzo Trier and Frank Ntilikina as a value play on today’s slate. Despite being $1,200 cheaper than Trier, Burke actually has better FPPM numbers in this split. At $5,100, it is going to be very hard for Trier to return value. The Knicks can be hard to trust, especially on a Sunday, but Burke is an interesting GPP value play.

Elie Okobo: As we continue moving along the bargain bin, Elie Okobo is interesting to me as he will draw the start and is locked in 30ish minutes again, making him a pretty solid value today at just $3,500. I like him as a drop score on FD (after Bayless) and you could even double punt on FD with Okobo and Bayless.

Those are your Dirty Dozen! Some are going to be commonplace, and some won’t. These are players my research led me to and some will contain risk. Your research may indicate you agree or disagree, and that’s ok….we discuss these things in our coaching channels nightly. Good luck tonight! Check the coaches picks for even more confidence in your plays. And always consult all of the unlocked tools (including the Research Station) before lock! And, if you are catching me on a #FreebieFriday, you are going to want to unlock those coaching channels by admitting……
