Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande . I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
We have a very small three-game slate on hand tonight. Normally I won’t even bother with a 6th Man article tonight, but with all the studs on the slate tonight, we need value to fit as many of them as we can. While there is some good value in starting lineups tonight (Danny Green, Kevon Looney, etc.), the bench holds a few that we could consider. Let’s take a look at them.
Looks like Geek went out and captured himself a Q!

6th MEN
Bogdan Bogdanovic (6700/5800): Bogdan is playing very well and getting 30+ minutes off the bench. He’s put up three 35+ FDPs games in his last 5. He is currently on an upward trajectory and with the chalkiness of other SGs on this slate, he’ll be very low-owned tonight. He makes for an excellent play today, especially as a GPP pivot off Klay Thompson.
Gary Harris (4800/4800): Harris returned after an 11-game absence and saw 20 mins off the bench. He will see closer to 25 today and perhaps even more. He is too cheap on both sites for what he is capable of. Harris being cheap than Malik Beasley is a travesty. Harris makes for an excellent value play here today in what will be a very fast-paced game. His floor and upside make him playable in all formats.
Monte Morris (4600/4500): Everyone is mooning over Malik Beasley right now. This is the perfect time to pivot off him and his chalkiness and go back to the well with Monte Morris. Morris has been having a good season and barring the last 2 games where Beasley has outshone him, he has been the better play. With Harris fully reintegrating back into the team, you can expect things to shift back and Morris comes out on top here. Earlier this season, Morris put up 27.8 DKPs in 29 minutes against the Kings. At his price and his upside, he makes for a nice GPP play.
Marco Belinelli (3700/3400): With all the studs in good spots, we need some punts to fit them in. Belinelli does not have tremendous upside, but among those in his price range, he is perhaps the most consistent. In his last 10 games, he has put up over 20 DKPs five times and scoring over 16 in 3 of the remaining 5. With this productivity at his price, he makes for a good punt play and salary saver. He is a drop-score candidate on FD.
Justin Jackson (3500/3300): Theirs is nothing pretty about rostering Justin Jackson. He consistently gets minutes and consistently does nothing with them. He has seen over 20 minutes in 9 of his last 10 games and has only cracked the 20 FP barrier once. All this is to say there is nothing safer about rostering Jackson. The only reason he is here is because he performed really well against the Nuggets the first time around. He makes for a passable drop-score candidate on FD here tonight.
Editor’s Note – Short and simple is sometimes all it takes to drop quality info for our VIPs. We do dive deep, but on shorter slates, most of our discussion is held in our exclusive coaching channels where we reserve the deeper strategy talk on tourney slates like tonight’s. To access the discussions, you need to be a VIP. And, good news!! You still have plenty of time today……… DFS Army VIP Program!
That’s it for the 6th Men today! Good luck out there tonight. Remember to play light and only GPPs on this three-game slate!
