Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
A mid-sized 7-game slate here tonight. There has been a lot of content put out covering everything there is to cover, so make sure to read the articles and the coaches notes. There are some really nice players to target today off the bench, so let’s take a look at who they are.

CORE PLAYS
PG – Shabazz Napier (5100/4900): With Dinwiddie Sidelined, Napier is firmly in play in DFS off the bench for the Nets. In the two games with Dinwiddie out, Napier has played 26 and 28 minutes, and taken 13 and 16 shots respectively. His shots have not been falling, but the opportunities are there for him and a matchup against the Bulls is excellent.
SG – Terrence Ross (5600/5100): I love Ross here tonight. His scoring will be needed by the Magic as they face the Thunder. SG also happens to be the one place we can go at the Thunder this season. Ross is averaging 29 MPG over his last 6 and has put up 26.6 DKPs on average in that period. I love the spot for him on both sites here in all formats.
SF – Kelly Oubre Jr. (6300/5700): Oubre is the second option on this team as long as Warren and Ayton remain out. He is putting up 32.4 DKPs in 30.2 MPG over his last 6 games, making him a really solid all format option tonight on both sites. Factor in his upside and you can only love him more here. It also helps that DeRozan is out here, making the matchup even better.
GPP PLAYS
SG – Jordan Clarkson (5000/4700): Clarkson finally woke up from his slump with a fine performance against the Bulls last time out. He is averaging 24.6 MPG over his last 6 games during his slump. Should he get hot tonight, he will only see more minutes than that. The matchup against the Wizards is a fantastic one for him, making this an excellent spot for him in GPPs. He is fine is hybrid lineups too, but I will hesitate to play him in cash.
PF – Bobby Portis (5700/6400): Portis continues to play good minutes off the bench. He has played 33, 34 and 19 minutes over his last 3 games. The matchup tonight against the Nets is one of the best in the league. The Nets can’t rebound to save their lives and Portis should feast on the boards here. He is an excellent all format play on FD at his price. On DK, he is only a GPP play given the high price tag.
PF – Ed Davis (4300/4100): Davis has been solid recently for the Nets. He is averaging 26.5 DKPs in 23.2 MPG off the bench over his last 5 games. In that period, he has also recorded a 45 DKP game, showing his upside. His floor has been relatively stable, and the upside is clearly there, making him a good hybrid and GPP play here on both sites.
PF – Cheick Diallo (3700/3200): With Anthony Davis, Julius Randle, and Nikola Mirotic ruled out tonight, there’ll be a lot of minutes to go around. Cheick Diallo is in line to benefit tremendously from this. Diallo is in line to see 20-25 minutes tonight. The two times he has seen 20+ minutes this season, Diallo has gone for 31.5 and 25.8 FDPs in 23 minutes each game. That kind of production is what we will love to get from someone who is near min-priced on both sites. He is a drop score candidate on FD and a GPP punt play on DK.
Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
