Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
Another Sunday, no one needs to tell you to play light by now. It is a given! We have a 2-game early slate and a 7-game (6-game on DK) main slate. I actually love the early slate tonight, so I’ll cover the 6th Men on both the early and main slates today. Let’s dive in!
We had some nice performances yesterday, headlined by this impressive 2nd place finish by JokerWins

EARLY SLATE
SG – Lou Williams (6600/7500): For some reason, FD will not raise the price on Lou Williams. He is a natural born scorer, averaging 40.4 DKPs in 25.6 MPG over his last 4 games. In a matchup against the Kings who play at a fast pace, and with Gallinari out, Sweet Lou should feast. He is too cheap on FD and is a core play there. He is priced at value on DK and makes for a nice GPP play there.
SG – Bogdan Bogdanovic (6600/5400): We have the opposite of the Sweet Lou situation. Bogdanovic is too cheap on DK, while priced at value on FD. The matchup against the Clippers is a good one for him, especially since he comes off the bench here. Over is last 5 games, Bogdanovic is averaging 29.6 DKPs in 27.4 MPG. At just 5.4k on DK and given his upside, he is a core play on there. On FD, he is GPP only.
SF – Jabari Parker (4300/4200): Hutchinson is out for an extended period, opening 30+ minutes which need to be distributed. Jabari Parker is in line to benefit from this. He was already averaging 17.5 MPG and 22.4 DKPs over his last 4 games. It is not inconceivable that he picks up about 10 minutes from Hutchinson, moving him to the 25-30 MPG range. This is more than enough for Parker to crush value with given his talent. He is cheap on both sites and is an all-format play.
PF – Marvin Bagley III (5900/5500): The Clippers suck defending PFs and Cs. In his only game against the Clippers this season, Bagley went for 37 DKPs in 27 minutes. Over his last 5 games, he is averaging 27.2 DKPs in 27.2 MPG and has a 43 Fpts outing in that span. This is an excellent spot for Bagley, making him a prime target on both sites in all formats.
PF – Bobby Portis (5300/6600): In his last 2 games, Portis has played 33 and 34 minutes, channeling that into 20.75 and 38 DKPs respectively. The key point here is the minutes. As long as he continues to play 30+ minutes, which we can almost expect with Hutchinson out now, he is in play in all formats. He is a much better play on FD where his price just refuses to budge from 5.3k. Love everything about him on FD. On DK, he is expensive but has the upside making him an excellent GPP play in a good matchup.
PF – Harry Giles III (3800/3500): Harry Giles makes for a nice drop-score candidate on FD at just 3.8k. He gets the excellent matchup against the Clippers and has shown solid upside for the Kings. On DK, he can be used as a salary relief if needed in GPPs, but keep in mind that his minutes are inconsistent, making him a play only if MMEing.
MAIN SLATE
SG – Dwayne Wade (5000/4800): Wade goes to the Garden on his farewell tour. He has had big games here and just as he did at Staple center, you know he wants to have another one. The matchup against the Knicks is a good one, and his price on both sites is exploitable. With his upside and the narrative, I want to have a share of Wade in GPPs on both sites tonight.
SF – Otto Porter Jr. (7000/6100): I’ve been writing Porter up the past 3 games and he has proceeded to underperform in every single one. At some point, that streak must end. There’s no day like today for that to happen. In an exploitable matchup at PF versus the Spurs, and getting 31+ minutes off the bench, Porter is too cheap on DK at just 6.1k. As long as he is below 7k, he is in play in all formats on there. On FD, he is priced at value and is a GPP play due to his upside.
SF – Kelly Oubre Jr. (6000/5800): With TJ Warren and De’Anthony Melton out, and the other injuries the Suns are dealing with, Oubre remains the 2nd best option on this team. He is locked into 30+ minutes off the bench for the foreseeable future. At his current price on both FD and DK, he is in play in all formats. He has a relatively stable floor and given the matchup, has the upside to be in the winning GPP lineup.
C – Ivica Zubac (4800/4800): Zubac has been getting around 20-22 minutes off the bench recently. Given his talent, this is more than enough for him to shred the Suns today. The Suns don’t have anyone who can stop him on their team and given how soft they play defensively there you can actually see Zubac get more minutes here. I like Zubac in GPPs on both sites given his upside. The minutes situation stops him from being playable in cash.
Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
