Welcome to the DFS Army NBA Free Squares article, where I will try to break down my favorite NBA Free Squares and Fanduel and Draftkings for Today’s NBA Slate.
So what is a Free Square exactly? In NBA DFS there will be situations that come up that will lead to bench players getting more minutes. Some may even enter the starting lineup. The low cost of these players will allow us to spend up across the rest of our lineups. Wich gives us the ability to lock in some high dollar studs.
Did you know?
DFS Army already has 2 staff Members who have qualified for the Fanduel NBA World Championships? Coach @DFSLoosmeister and Coach @MrBearHere have locked in their seats for the World Championships in a few months. The good news is there is still plenty of time for you to grab a seat of your own!
These are just 2 of the most recent examples of the 100’s of huge winners we’ve had in NFL and NBA over the years and we’re not planning on slowing down any time soon. Cash Games, Single Entry Tournaments, MME 150 GPP’s we simply DOMINATE. I promise you’re not gonna want to miss out on a single day of this.
My Favorite NBA Free Squares for Today – December 26th
💥 Fred VenVleet TOR PG $5,600
Kyle Lowry is listed as Doubtful tonight vs the Miami Heat. I’m going to assume he’s going to miss tonight’s game which would push Fre VanVleet into the starting point guard roll tonight. Over his last 5 games VanVleet has played 32 minutes per game and has averaged 29.6 fantasy points per game. The Heat are not a bad Defensive team and they allow (-)2% fewer fantasy points to point guards than the league average. However with Lowry off the Floor VanVleet should play over 30 minutes in this one tonight. He has played 27 minutes or more in 8 straight games and has scored at least 25 fantasy points in 6 of those 8 games.
💥 Lou Williams LAC SG $5,400
This price is way too low for Sweet Lou in this matchup tonight vs the Kings. In his last 3 games he has scored 38.9, 11.5 and 41.2 fantasy points in his last 3 games. The Kings play at a 107 pace, have a defensive efficiency rating of 109 and they allow 7% more fantasy points to shooting guards than the league average. At just $5,400 on Fanduel he’s a great value option tonight who could easily reach 6 or 7x value in this spot.

💥 Miles Turner IND C $7,300
Turner has been on a tear recently over his last 5 games he has played 32 minutes and scored 43.7 fantasy points per game. The Atlanta Hawks are one of the worst Defensive teams in the league with a 109 defensive efficiency rating. They allow 9% more fantasy points to centers than the league average an they play at a blistering 108 pace. Turner is on fire and underpriced when you consider his recent production and this matchup.
Also worth noting
The entire Pacers lineup has a great matchup today vs the Hawks. As I said above they are the worst Defensive team in the NBA. I’ll have plenty of exposure to Victor Oladipo, Thad Young and Bojan Bogdanovic tonight along with Miles Turner.
💥 Luka Doncic DAL SG $8,300
This kid is becoming a star right before our eyes. Over his last 5 games he has averaged 33 minutes and 45.5 fantasy points per game. He has scored over 40 fantasy points in 5 of his last 7 games. The matchup vs the Pelicans is as good as it gets as they play at a 106 pace and have a 109 defensive efficiency rating and they allow 8% more fantasy points to shooting guards than the league average.
Other Mavericks I like tonight are Harrison Barnes, who has a near 30% usage rate with Smith and Matthews off the Floor. JJ Barea who leads the team witha 1.26 fp/min with Smith and Matthews off the floor. Lastly DeAndre Jordan who has been hot lately averaging 41.6 fantasy points over his last 5 games.
