Welcome to the DFS Army NBA 1st look article. In this article, I’ll try to give you a quick glance at the NBA slate each morning. I’ll go over some of the Vegas info and some of the Injury situations we’re monitoring throughout the league.

💥 Who’s Out? Who’s Questionable? What it means…
NOP Nikola Mirotic OUT
– With Mirotic out the 3 guys we want to target are Anthony Davis 1.63 fp/min. Julius Randle 1.25 fp/min and Jrue Holiday 1.21 fp/min
HOU Chris Paul and Eric Gordon OUT
– With CP3 and Gordon off the floor James Harden has a 51.8% usage rate and averages a ridiculous 2.07 fp/min. He has a tough matchup vs Memphis but you can’t ignore a usage rate this high. The Rockets will have a tight rotation tonight so Gerald Green, Austin Rivers and Daniel House are all respectable value candidates.
ATL Kent Bazemore OUT – Dewayne Dedmon – Doubtful
With Bazemore and Dedmon off the floor Trae Young gets a +5.9% usage increase up to 34.8% overall and he averages 1.29 fp/min. With Dedmon out the Hawks will be thin in the frontcourt so we’ll see more minutes for Alex Len, John Collins and Miles Plumlee.
MIN Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague – Q
Both Rose and Teague missed last nights game and Tyus Jones took full advantage of it. He played 36 minutes last night and scored 12 points with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. He also had 5 steals which really inflated his DFS score. If Rose and Teague miss again he’ll be a solid value option.
PHX Devin Booker – Q
They will likely get blown out even if Booker plays so this is a tough spot here for the Suns vs the Warriors tonight if Booker is out. Josh Jackson, TJ Warren, DeAndre Ayton and Kelly Oubre should all get a boost if Booker is out
DAL Wes Matthews – Q
JJ Barea, Harrison Barnes and Luka Doncic all get boosts if Wes Matthews is out
SAS Rudy Gay – Q
With Rudy Gay off the floor DeMar Derozan gets a +3.6% usage increase up to 35.2% and he averages 1.34 fp/min. Davis Bertans and Derrick White would also pick up extra minutes if Gay is out.
