Welcome to the DFS Army NBA 1st look article. In this article, I’ll try to give you a quick glance at the NBA slate each morning. I’ll go over some of the Vegas info and some of the Injury situations we’re monitoring throughout the league.

💥 Who’s Out? Who’s Questionable? What it means…
WAS John Wall OUT – Otto Porter and Markief Morris – Q
Bradley Beal has a 36.8% usage rate and averges 1.51 fp/min with Wall off the floor. He has played 4 games this season without John Wall and In those 4 games, he has scored 56.7, 46.1, 70.7 and 52.9 fantasy points. He’s a lock when Wall is off the floor. Don’t get cute
HOU Chris Paul OUT
With Chris Paul out James Harden has a 44.7% usage rate and averages a ridiculous 1.68 fantasy points per minute.
UTA Jae Crowder OUT – Ricky Rubio – Q
If Rubio is out we’ll get Rual Neto and Dante Exum could fill in as the point guards today. We could also see the Jazz do what they did in the Playoffs last year when Rubio missed, which is, using Donovan Mitchell as the PG and using Royce O’Neal as the SF
NYK Time Hardaway Jr – Q
With Hardaway out last game Courtnet Lee got the start and played 23 minutes. Luke Kornet started as well and nearly broke the slate (go figure). With Hardaway out, it would seem logical that Emmanuel Mudiay would get a bump in production.
MIL Khris Middleton – Q
If Middleton were to miss the game Tony Snell would likely start for him. He started 1 game this season replacing Middleton and scored 24.5 DK points. The biggest beneficiary would be Eric Bledsoe who scored 44.25 DK points in the last game Middleton missed. With Middleton off the Floor, Giannis has a 33.6% usage rate and averages 1.83 fp/min. Eric Bledsoe has a 28.3% usage rate and averages 1.26 fp/min
NOP Nikola Mirotic – Q
The big 3 of Davis, Randle and Holiday all get boosts in usage when Mirotic is off the floor.
CLE Rodney Hood and David Nwaba – Q
Cedi Osman is the main beneficiary with Hood out. The minutes of Colin Sexton, Alec Burks and Jordan Clarkson are pretty locked in as well. This Cavs team is thin and most of them are cheap so we could get some decent value here if you can stomach it.
