Welcome to the DFS Army NBA 1st look article. In this article I’ll try to give you a quick glance at the NBA slate each morning. I’ll go over some of the Vegas info and some of the Injury situations we’re monitoring throughout the league.

💥 Who’s Out? Who’s Questionable? What it means…
MIN Jeff Teague OUT, Derrick Rose Q
If Derrick Rose is out we’ll get a Cheap PG Option in Tyus Jones vs a very bad Defenisve team in Chicago. Jones played 32 minutes the other day and scored 22 fantasy pionts.
WAS Otto Porter OUT
Trevor Ariza and Jeff Green will pick up the minutes while Porter is out.
NOP Nikola Mirotic OUT
The prices are adjusted now to reflect the Mirotic “out” news, so we’re not getting the same value in Julius Randle that we were a week ago. The being said he’s scoring about 40 fantasy points per 36 minutes since Mirotic has gone down. Obviously Anthony Davis is a ELITE play as always and he’s scoring 60+ fantasy points per 36 minutes since Mirotic has gone down.
BKN Allen Crabbe OUT
He has missed the previous 6 games so tonight will make it 7 in a row that he has missed. Rodinos Kurucs has averaged 22.75 DK points and around 28 minutes per game with Crabbe out. Joe Harris has played over 30 minutes per game and scored 25.50 fantasy points per game with Crabbe out.
CLE Rodney Hood and David Nwaba OUT
Burks, Clarkson, Sexton, Osman and Blossomgame (punt) are all going to see increased minutes with Hood and Nwaba out. I would rank Burks #1 from a point per dollar perspective. From a ceiling perspective Clarkson would be #1 for me. All of them are in play as the Cavs will likely have a tight 8 or 9 man rotation tonight
ATL Omari Spellman OUT, Miles Plumlee Q, John Collins Q, Alex Len Q
if all 4 of these guys are out Dwyane Dedmon would be a near must play tonight as he would get all the minutes he could handle. Its possible that Collins or Len play, if one of them plays that one would be a very solid play as well. Someone has to fill the minutes at PF and C, so we’ll monitor this situation throughout the day
DAL Dennis Smith Jr Q, Wes Mattews Q
Jalen Brunson and JJ Barea would pick up the majority if both of these guys miss the game. Barea is a much better player than Brunson and has a much higher ceiling and floor.
