Welcome to the DFS Army NBA 1st look article. In this article I’ll try to give you a quick glance at the NBA slate each morning. I’ll go over some of the Vegas info and some of the Injury situations we’re monitoring throughout the league.

💥 Who’s Out? Who’s Questionable? What it means…
NOP Nikola Mirotic Doubtful – Julius Randle Q – Anthony Davis Q
If all 3 are OUT I will be heavily invested in Jrue Holiday as he’ll have to do everything for this team tonight. I’m expecting Randle and Davis to play tonight in a big Friday Night showdown vs the Lakers. With Mirotic off the Floor Julius Randle gets the biggest boost on the team. Holiday and Davis are top tier DFS options nearly every night. This is a great Late Night Hammer game tonight.
MEM Joakim Noah Q – JaMychal Green Q
If both of these bigs are out for the Grizzles Jaren Jackson Jr should get a solid boost vs the Kings. The last 2 times he’s played the Kings this year he scored 30.75 and 46.5 Dk points.
BKN Allen Crabbe OUT
This will be the 5th game in a row that Crabbe has missed. Rodions Kurcus has started the last 4 games and he’s scored 18 fantasy points per game. Spencer Dinwiddie and D’Angelo Russell have both averaged around 34 fantasy points per game with the extra minutes they are getting in Crabbe’s absense.
NYK Mitchell Robinson OUT
This will be his 4th game in a row that he will mis. With Robinson out Enes Kanter is going to get all the minutes he can handle. He’s well over 1 fantasy point per minute this season and he has averaged 34 fantasy points per game over the last 3 games.
SAC Iman Shumpert Q – Bogdan Bogdanovic Q
Tough game here for the Kings vs the Grizzlies as they are ranked last in the league in pace. Last game without these two De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield had monster games scoring 58 and 56 fantasy points. The matchup vs the Grizzlies is not as good but the minutes will be there with a thin backcourt.
BOS Al Horford OUT – Marcus Morris Q – Aaron Baynes OUT
With Horford out again and Baynes breaking his had the frountcourt is very thin for the Celtics. Daniel Theis and Robert Williams will get the biggest minute increases for the Celtics with those 2 big men out. With Horford out everything has been running through Kyrie Irving and he’s been putting up big numbers the past week. His price is getting up there now but he’s going to be a top point guard option on Friday vs the Bucks.
LAL Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram – Q
Both players practiced on Thursday so we’re not really sure yet if they are going to play on Friday night vs the Pelicans. If they do play we’ll have to drop Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma a little as they have both been on fire with Rondo and Ingram out. Stay tuned as this is a great late night hammer game so make sure you’re following our NBA coaches notes throughout the day.
TOR Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka – Q
Fred VanVleet will likely start for Lowry if he is out vs the Cavs Friday night. Kawi Leonard will get a boost every tim Lowry is off the floor as he’ll handle the ball much more. He scored 55 fantasy points last game with Lowry out. VanVleet is averaging 26 fantasy points this year with Lowry off the floor. If Ibaka misses we’ll get a ton of minutes for Pascal Siakam and with Valanciunas out Greg Monroe will be in play again as well.
