Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande . I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
A lovely eight-game main slate on our hands today that starts at 7 PM ET. There’s a lot to go over on this slate. Since I coach today as well, I’ll have more detailed notes posted later on that covers key plays on the slate. For now, I have some 6th Men for your reading and rostering pleasure!
Shoutout to herecomethecrimson on this performance earlier in the week!

CORE PLAYS
Bogdan Bogdanovic (6800/6100): Bogdan disappointed last night due to the blowout nature of the game. Today he gets a chance to compensate us in an excellent matchup against the Pacers and with Iman Shumpert out freeing up even more minutes and usage. He’s a core play on both sites, in all formats.
Markieff Morris (6200/5700): This matchup against Thompson is a tough one for Morris. However, he has performed extremely well since Howard went down and is capable of producing here as well. He is priced at value, making him better suited for cash games. He can also be used in some hybrid lineups.
Alec Burks (4000/3900): Burks will be extremely chalky tonight after his performance last night. That said, he faces a Wizards team that gives up a lot of points to guards in general. And without Hood, Burks will see increased minutes, usage, and take a lot of shots. I like everything about this situation. This is the type of chalk you eat in cash!
GPP PLAYS
Kyle O’Quinn (3500/3000): O’Quinn exploded last night in a blowout situation. We all know the upside O’Quinn brings to the table, the issue has always been minutes. If he gets minutes, he’ll easily exceed value. GPP only due to the minutes issue.
Larry Nance Jr. (5300/4700): Nance is never a sexy play, but with the Cavs increasingly shorthanded, he’ll continue to get minutes. This time around, he’ll face a Wizards team that isn’t the best defensively and will get opportunities to pad his stats with rebounds. He will be low-owned in a matchup in which he could explode. This is what we look for in GPPs. Don’t go crazy with this play though.
Kelly Olynyk (5200/5100): Olynyk has been solid over his last four games. As long as Whiteside is out, Olynyk will continue to be a contributor on this team as he will see more minutes. He makes for an excellent GPP play at lower ownership on both sites, with an upside to take down GPPs.
Those are your Sixth Men for today. I’ll have notes covering the entire slate later on. Good luck out there tonight!
