DFS NBA Lineup Strategies - Blande's 6th Man - Draftkings and Fanduel Advice Dec 28th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande . I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

I just got a shiny new channel, so join me in #blande-nba-wnba!

We’ve got a huge 10-game slate tonight. There’s a lot of injury news dropping today (make sure to read up in #nba-breaking-news), opening up a lot of value plays. With all the value plays on the slate, the most important 6th Men today are those who are counted on day in and day out to do the heavy lifting for their teams. I’m talking about players who are an integral and huge part of their teams game plan. Let’s dive into those today!

Another look at this Takedown by Puggle!

CORE PLAYS

Montrezl Harrell – PF: LAC – (7100/6400): Harrell had a phenomenal game last time out and today he gets the shorthanded Lakers. It’s difficult to see who will be able to slow him down tonight, making him a core option off the bench. He’s playable in all formats in this matchup, on both sites.

Lou Williams – SG: LAC – (6200/6600): Lou continues to dominate. We are finally getting Sweet Lou this season, and it is high time they started giving him more minutes and benching Avery Bradley. That said, Lou has a fine matchup today against the Lakers. He’s playable in all formats on both sites. I still like him a little more on FD.

Domantas Sabonis – PF: IND – (6800/6200): Sabonis will get a dream matchup against both Griffin and Drummond tonight. He should have himself a day on the boards. He’s priced nicely on both sites to make him a good cash play off the bench. I can also see using him in some hybrid lineups.

Spencer Dinwiddie – PG: BKN – (7400/7300): I wrote up Dinwiddie a few days ago when he faced the same Hornets team, and all he did was go for over 60 FDPs. He’s in the same position today and while he is expensive, he makes for a good play here. Do not expect 60 from him again, but 5x value is a possibility at that price. I’ll only use him in cash here.

GPP PLAYS

Jordan Clarkson – SG: CLE – (6000/6000): Clarkson continues to get 30+ minutes here and I’ll keep using him in GPPs. He has GPP winning upside on any given night. Factor in a matchup against the Heat tonight, and I like the outlook for him in GPPs on both sites.

Dennis Schroder – SG: OKC – (5600/5300): Schroder is going to be chalky today with PG13 out. Normally that will make him a cash play, but I personally need to see how he performs in this spot first before I trust it. That makes him a GPP play only for me on both sites.

Monte Morris – SG: DEN – (5700/4700): I wrote up Monte Morris last time out in this same position, and while he had a good game, he got outplayed by Malik Beasley. We are back in the same spot and once again I am going back to the well with Morris. Most people will jump on Beasley here since he is cheaper, but it is the perfect spot to leverage the low ownership on Morris in GPPs. Love him more on DK.

Dario Saric – PF: MIN – (4700/4700): Saric has been poor over his last 3 games. There’s nothing like a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks though, to revive you from a slump. I love everything about this spot for Saric. He will feast in every facet on this Hawks team that just doesn’t defend. Excellent GPP play on both sites.

That’s it for today! Good luck out there Army!
