It’s a Sunday in the NBA. That means crazy and weird things can and will happen. So play light and have some fun. We have a three-game early slate and a four-game main slate on our hands today. Let’s take a dive into the 6th Men.

There’s a lot that the DFS Army has to offer. Join now and share in it.

EARLY SLATE

Spencer Dinwiddie (7000/7800): Dinwiddie has been on a tear over his last six games, averaging 35.7 FDPs in 30 MPG. As a result, his price has been jacked up by both sites. He is very expensive on DK but is still playable on FD at that price. I like him here in an excellent matchup against the defensive porous Hawks. All-format play on FD.

Jordan Clarkson (5300/5900): All season, Clarkson has performed extremely well in games in which he has seen over 25 minutes. He has scored over 30 FPs in 6 of the last 10 games he has played over 25 minutes, with his lowest output being a 24.7 FDPs outing. With the injury bug biting, and the Cavs needing scoring, Clarkson is likely to get 30 minutes tonight, making him an excellent all-format play. He is much cheaper of FD than DK but is playable on both.

Domantas Sabonis (6500/6700): Oladipo is back, and Sabonis is back to his usual great self. He’s hitting his strike wants again and today gets the fantastic matchup against a Knicks team that can’t stop bigs if their lives depended on it. This one is a no-brainer. Sabonis doesn’t need a lot of minutes to reach value and is priced nicely on both sites. Another all-format play here.

Jeremy Lin (4500/4000): This one is a GPP special. In general, Jeremy Lin does well when Trae Young struggles. The Nets have been alright against PGs. If you think Young struggles in this game, you can take a shot at Lin in GPPs and hope he gets one of his high output kind of games. It’s risky, but it will be a low-owned kind of play.

And it is not just NBA, we cover every spot out there!

MAIN SLATE

CORE PLAYS

Bogdan Bogdanovic (6400/5700): Bogdanovic will be relied on heavily today, especially with Shumpert questionable. With the guaranteed high minutes and his ability in a good matchup, everything points towards a good game from him. This is exactly what he needs to bounce back from the dud he laid against the Warriors. He is a core play on both sites.

Kelly Olynyk (5500/5000): Olynyk has been really good over his last 8 games with his lowest output in that period being a 24.3 FDPs showing. The return of Hassan Whiteside doesn’t seem to have slowed him down as the Heat realize they need Olynyk’s scoring ability. He is still really cheap on both sites for his consistency, making him an excellent cash game pay today, and also a good GPP play.

Monte Morris (5200/4500): Without Harris, Barton, and Millsap, Monte Morris has been running rampant with the Nuggets 2nd unit. In his last three games, he has average 34.7 FDPs in 28 MPG off the bench. The outlook is really good for Morris here in what should be a hard-fought contest against a shorthanded Raptors team.

GPP PLAYS

Greg Monroe (4000/3500): Looks like I might have been one game too early on the Monroe call. I’m going right back to it today. To begin with, the Raptors will need a big body to deal with Jokic, enter Monroe. Secondly, Siakam is questionable and could miss this game. This, in theory, could result in more minutes for Monroe, however, they could decide to play small. That’s the main reason why Monroe is a strictly GPP play, and to be honest use him only on FD as a drop score candidate.

Delon Wright (3600/3200): If both Lowry and Siakam are out, the Raptors will likely decide to go small, with Kawhi at the 4 and Ibaka at the 5. This will mean they’ll play three guards out there. This matchup provides a lot of opportunities for Delon Wright to have himself a good game. He’ll see increased minutes and get chances to shoot, putting him firmly in play in GPPs. He’s cheap enough and can be used even on DK, although he is preferred on FD as a drop score candidate.

Markieff Morris (5600/5400): Morris has had a tough go of it over the past few games. He just hasn’t been in form. Today he gets Lakers team that has been performing well defensively recently, when not getting blown out. All that said, the Lakers will have a hard time defending a big who stretched the floor as well as Morris. Given his form, this is a risky play and should only be used in GPPs.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today! Make sure to join the DFS Army and get access to our content, tools, coaches, and community that shortens your growth curve for NBA DFS.
