Welcome to the DFS Army NBA Free Squares article where I will try to break down my favorite NBA Free Squares and Fanduel and Draftkings for Today’s NBA Slate.
So what is a Free Square exactly? In NBA DFS there will be situations that come up that will lead to bench players getting more minutes. Some may even enter the starting lineup. The low cost of these players will allow us to spend up across the rest of our lineups. Wich gives us the ability to lock in some high dollar studs.

My Favorite NBA Free Squares for Today – November 27th
💥 Darren Collison IND PG $4,900
The Pacers will be without Victor Oladipo again tonight against the Suns. This is the second game of a back to back for the Pacers on the road. That is not going to scare me off Collison tonight however priced at only $4,900 without Oladipo. This Suns team has given up 19% more fantasy points to point guards than the league average. Collison is coming off a great fantasy game last night against the Utah Jazz where he played 26 minutes and put up 40.1 fantasy points. Tonight’s matchup is even better and I’ll be using him a core value piece tonight on a this small 5 game slate.
💥 Other Pacers
It’s worth noting that the other Pacers point guard Cory Joseph is in the same situation as Collison vs this Suns team who is terrible against point guards. You wont get a discount with Joseph as he is only $100 cheaper priced at $4,800 on Fanduel however, you should get similar production out of him. He scored 20.6 fantasy points last night vs the Jazz in 26 minutes and he scored 38.3 fantasy points the game before that against the Spurs in 31 minutes. If we think Collison is going to be much higher owned in Tournaments, than Joseph makes a solid pivot here. The guy that could go even lower owned tonight would be SG Aaron Holliday so keep that in mind as well.
One more thing, I like the idea of playing them both together for a total of $9,700 on Fanduel. This would essentially lock you into 48 minutes of point guards against one of the worst defenses in the league against point guards. I have a hard time believing that they wont combine for 48.50 or more fantasy points tonight which is what they would need to pay off $9,700 at 5x value.
💥 Bam Adebayo MIA C $4,600
Usually I wont have any interest in Bam Adebayo unless Hassan Whiteside was out. In his last 2 games however Bam has smashed value playing 26 and 36 minutes. In those games he has scored 26 and 36 fantasy points. His price has risen a little because of those great games but it is still only $4,600 tonight. Atlanta allows 9% more fantasy points to centers than the league average so this is a fantastic spot for BAM tonight.
💥 Other Heat Players
Several other Heat players are in play tonight with Goran Dragic and Tyler Johnson being ruled out. My favorites in order are Josh Richardson, Dwyane Wade. Justise Winslow and Rodney McGruder. All of them should see close to 30 minutes tonight and Wade will likely handle the point guard duties with Dragic and Johnson out.

💥 Myles Turner IND $6,300
We weren’t sure if Turner was going to play last night as he was questionable all day. Well he played against the Jazz and played very wel scoring 35.80 fantasy points in 25 minutes. Tonight he gets a juicy matchup vs the Suns who rank dead last in our adjusted DVP metric vs Centers. With Oladipo out everyone on this Pacers team gets a boost and that includes Turner. In 4 of his last 5 games played Tuner has scored over 32 fantasy points and tonight he should reach 30+ again.
💥 Domantas Sabonis IND $7,000
I’m sure you’re picking up the theme of this article today by now.Play the Pacers and Heat tonight. Both teams have elite matchups against bad defense and both teams have key offensive pieces out which will open up more opportunities for other players. Sabonis like Turner was questionable yesterday but did play vs the Jazz. He scored 36 fantasy points in just under 24 minutes last night. The previous game against the Spurs he scored 41.20 fantasy points in 34 minutes again with Oladipo not in the lineup. Load up on these two big men for the Pacers tonight as you’ll be hard pressed to find a better matchup.
