NBA Free Squares November 13th

Welcome to the DFS Army NBA Free Squares article where I will try to break down my favorite NBA Free Squares and Fanduel and Draftkings for Today’s NBA Slate.

So what is a Free Square exactly? In NBA DFS there will be situations that come up that will lead to bench players getting more minutes. Some may even enter the starting lineup. These players will often be priced as backups (their normal role). The increase in their minutes and role will give us someone we can plug into our lineups and expect them to reach or exceed value. The low cost of these players will allow us to spend up across the rest of our lineups. Wich gives us the ability to lock in some high dollar studs.

My Favorite NBA Free Squares for Today – November 13th

💥 Larry Nance – CLE – PF – $5,900

Finally played over 30 minutes for the 1st time this year and delivered with 34.30 fantasy points. Despite only scoring 2 real points on 1 of 8 shooting, Nance pulled down 14 rebounds, had 1 assist, 1 steal and 4 blocked shots Saturday vs the Bulls. Tonight the Cavs will be without Cedi Osman, Kevin Love, Sam Dekker, Goerge Hill and Kyle Korver. They will be forced to use Nance around 30 minutes again this evening vs the Hornets. If he can hit some shots he should be on his way to a solid 32-38 fantasy point night tonight.

💥 Quinn Cook – GSW – PG – $5,800

Cook was a let down yesterday as Pat Beverly defense locked him down for most of the night. It didn’t help that Shaun Livingston came back and that Andre Iguadala played 33 minutes either. Tonight the Warriors get a back to back with the Hawks who allow 15% more fantasy points to point guards than the league average. Cook should see more run tonight than last night’s 22 minutes because the Warriros are unlikely to push the veteran Livingston and Iguadala on the 2nd leg of a back to back. Look for a big bounce back from Cook tonight against the fast paced Hawks.

💥 Cavaliers Mid Level Value – Clarkson, Hood, Sexton

Its hard to say which of these three guys will play better on a daily basis. All we know for sure is that the Cavaliers will be without Cedi Osman, Kevin Love, Sam Dekker, Goerge Hill and Kyle Korver tonight. Clarkson $5,700, Hood $5,400 and Sexton $5,700 should each see around 30 minutes of action tonight in a good matchup against the Hornets. I can’t really same for certain which will have the best game, but, I’m going to rank them Clarkson, Hood, Sexton tonight.

💥 Kevin Durant – GSW – SF – $11,800

With Steph Curry out you’re probably going to want to start your cash builds with Durant every night. Especially on a small slate like tonight. He’s price right where you would expect at $11,800 and he should be able to reach 50 fantasy points fairly easily without Steph Curry on the court. In two games so far without Curry, Durant has scored 57.50 and 66.20 fantasy points and has had a 32.7% and 37,9% usage rate. Look for more of the same tonight against the fast paced Hawks.
