Flynnie’s Forecheck for 11/27/18
We’re back!! After a long off-season of watching the greatest love story since Romeo and Juliet – obviously, I’m talking about Alex Ovechkin’s love affair with the Stanley Cup – it’s time to play some hockey. For those of you that are new to the DFS Army, my name is Rob Flynn. I’m an NHL DFS writer and coach inside the DFS Army. We have the best articles, coaching and tools in the industry. But let me tell you, the real money is made in the Slack chat that only our VIP’s have access to. That’s where we talk through a member’s lineup construction, thought process or just answer any DFS questions they may have. Every coach is very accessible and willing to share our own processes to help every member grow as a player.
I wrote an article describing some of my process and some tips to win. Check it out here. We also have a brand new Research station that is only available to VIP’s but here is the tutorial, to give you guys a taste of what’s coming this season. NHL DFS is very similar to DFS MLB. The volatility can be maddening, the floor of every player is ZERO and you need stacking in all contests. In cash games you need at least two players that correlate on either the scoring line or power play, to hopefully grab the goal and an assist. In GPP’s you need to stack up the entire line and hope that line goes off for multiple goals.

Without any further ado let’s dig into today’s 10-game slate.
I am primarily a cash/hybrid player but even that requires some stacking. So, I list my favorite and then I take the pieces from those stacks that fit my lineup construction. Unlike last season, I will put my stacks, D-men and goalies in order of my preference.
FORWARDS
TB 2 – Johnson, Kucherov, Point – I think this slate starts with Kucherov and Point. They are two of the hottest players on the planet and they are on the same line. Anaheim is struggling defensively and TB is the highest scoring team in the last three weeks. They also have the highest ITT on the slate. Point’s price is going up but there’s enough value to make them both work.
MIN 2 – Koivu, Parise, Coyle – Koivu is popping everywhere for me in my research and Arizona can’t defend at all recently. This line has six goals over the last 10 games and I expect that to continue tonight. Koivu and Coyle are cheaper priced forwards to allow other studs elsewhere.
PHI 1 – Konecny, Couturier, Giroux – This group has 10 goals over the last 10 games and four over the last three. Ottawa is the worst defensive team in the league in terms of goals allowed over the last three weeks. This becomes an ALL IN line for me if Mike McKenna starts for Ottawa – he’s awful.
Honorable Mention: VAN2, MTL2, NSH1, WPG1, DAL1, COL1, BUF1, SJ2, OTT2

We crush all sports, pro or college
DEFENSE
Dumba – Great two-man cash stack with Koivu and insanely consistent. Six straight games of 20 FD points or more – well 19.7 in one but I’m counting it.
Chabot – Just as consistent as Dumba, but may be cooling off slightly. His price at $5300 is still perfectly fine for this production.
Josi – Very expensive but he is more consistent and cheaper than the #DoubleD’s in San Jose.
Honorable Mention: Burns, Dahlin, Gudas, Klefbom, Nurse

Our NBA coach Loosmeister smashed the NBA world to the tune of over $70k and a live final ticket
GOALIES
Fleury – Targeting the inept offense of the Chicago Blackhawks has gone very well recently. MAF posts a 6-3-0/2.11/0.926 stat line over his last nine starts.
McElhinney – He is rolling right now, over 30 FDPTS in his last three games and he gets a Canadiens team that will pepper him with shots. MTL can score with the best of them, so this is GPP ONLY. But he is my favorite GPP goalie tonight. He has been CAR’s best goalie since the first game of the season and Rod Brind’Amour continues to reward him with more playing time.
Domingue – Highest money line against a Ducks team that is struggling. I think he gives up a couple (ANA top line is heating up) but they should score a toon Gibson. The win should be safe here.
Honorable Mention: Rinne, Dubnyk (both too expensive for me tonight), Hellebuyck
GOAL PREDICTION: Brayden Point
