Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande . I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army. We have a five-game main slate on both sites today. It’s a Sunday and we are clearly expecting a lot of weird things to happen tonight. Play smart today and be ready for curveballs to be drawn our way as lock nears. We will be providing coverage as late news breaks, so if you haven’t yet make sure to join us over at the DFS Army. This article covers some of my top plays on tonight’s slate, for the rest of it, you’ll have to join the Army and get access to our forums. Pricing in the article is FD/DK. Let’s dive in!

Point Guards
Kyrie Irving (8500/7600): Irving missed last game for his grandfather’s funeral. His back tonight in a good matchup and you can be sure he has something to play for. I’m not over thinking this one. He’s in a good spot and motivated. All-format play.
Jamal Murray (7500/6900): At home, his team will need scoring from him to keep in contention here tonight. The spot is a good one as point guards have found success against the Bucks this season. Add in the homecourt advantage and I love the outlook for Murray here tonight. All-format play.
Emmanuel Mudiay (4200/4000): Mudiay is finally getting consistent minutes this season, and as you can imagine, his fantasy output has improved drastically. He’s put up 27.2, 23.5, 24.3, in his last three games. At his price and against the Magic, I’ll take him here especially given his upside. This is a GPP play.
Shooting Guards
James Harden (11200/9400): I love me some Harden tonight. He has enjoyed his previous meetings against Oladipo and the Pacers, scoring over 55 FDPs in each of them. You might even get Harden tonight at discounted ownership due to his recent subpar performance. Harden is a steal on DK at 9400, the guy has 70-80 FPs upside. He is an All-format play.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (7800/7300): THJ has been a huge part of the Knicks offense this season, and this will have to continue in today’s game. This Knicks/Magic game will have quite a bit of fantasy potential tonight, and THJ leads the way for the Knicks. Especially against a Magic team that struggled to defend. The lack of peripheral stats for THJ is worrying, making him a much better GPP play. I’ll go somewhere else in Cash to be safe.
Kevin Huerter (3900/3400): Huerter has been solid off the bench for the Hawks this season. Getting around 30 MPG in his last 3. In a matchup against a Lakers team that struggles to defend and is on the back end of a b2b, I’m very interested in Huerter here as a value/punt play. This is of course more of a GPP play, although I can see using him in a hybrid lineup.
Small Forwards
LeBron James (11800/10700): This is one of those nights where LBJ will be needed to carry more of the load. His team is on the back end of a b2b against a well-rested Hawks team. We all know the upside LBJ carries night in and night out. I like him in GPPs over Giannis due to ownership.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (12000/11200): The Greek Freak has one of the highest upsides on the slate and makes for an excellent play at a weak SF spot. ABC should garner a high ownership tonight, and is a wonderful cash play on this slate, where he won’t kill you even if he doesn’t perform as expected. He is also a good GPP play, although the pivot to LBJ is in play as well.
Mario Hezonja (4000/3800): Super Mario gets a chance to take it to the team that drafted him in 2015. Hezonja has seen a slight uptick in minutes in recent games, and you can be sure he’ll be pushing for a chance to get around 25 minutes tonight. If he gets hot, he has the upside to far exceed value and push a lineup to the top. I love him in GPPs.

Power Forwards
Aaron Gordon (7900/7700): PFs against the Knicks is a go to play. It’s usually my first roster when I see NY on a slate. The issue we are dealing with here is that Gordon is currently questionable with an ankle injury. We’ll have to watch for the news here. If Gordon plays tonight, this is an easy plug and play in all formats.
Kyle Kuzma (6300/6000): Kuzma has been solid without being spectacular this season. The matchup tonight against the Hawks is a good one, and the kind Kuzma can exploit with his ability to stretch the floor. In this range on both sites, Kuzma is my preferred PF play in all formats.
Omari Spellman (4400/4400): Spellman has been fantastic over the past two games, putting up 48 and 28 FDPs in 27 MPG. Tonight, he gets to face a slightly tired Lakers team. Yes please, I want all the Spellman I can get. He is cheap enough that he won’t burn you completely in cash even in a subpar game, and the savings you get from playing him will allow for upgrading somewhere else. I love Spellman in all formats.
Center
Nikola Jokic (9500/9600): We finally saw great Jokic last time out, and I expect him to continue the good work against a Bucks team that has struggled to limit centers this season. Jokic will be needed by his team tonight and given the matchup, he is in play in all formats. He is a better play on FD.
Nikola Vucevic (8700/8400): The Knicks suck at stopping power forwards and they are not much better at limiting centers. Kanter doesn’t believe in defense, making it a delight for opposing centers when they see the Knicks on the schedule. Enter Vucevic who has been absolutely dominant this season. I love the matchup and the spot, and I especially like him in GPPs as a pivot off the chalkier Jokic.
Brook Lopez (4900/4400): Lopez had a wonderful day, yesterday and that should increase his ownership tonight. That said, he is once again in a lovely matchup. The Nuggets have been burnt by centers this season. Lopez is extremely cheap for the matchup, and I can see using him in hybrid and GPP lineups.
That’s it for now, more plays will be posted on our forums. Good luck out there today! Make sure to join the DFS Army and get access to our content, tools, coaches, and community that shortens your growth curve for NBA DFS.
