Just a four-game slate tonight and there are not many good options off the bench today. Looking at the 6th Men options today, none of them is really safe for cash outside of maybe 1 or 2. There’s enough value from starters that you don’t really need 6th Men in cash today. In GPPs however, there is some good value off the bench. Let’s dive into it.

Guards

Spencer Dinwiddie (5300/4800): Dinwiddie has been solid off the bench this season. He is a little expensive for the 26 minutes he is projected to play today, but his upside is clearly there. His 22.7 FDPs season average won’t kill you tonight at his price, while his ceiling of 36.4 FDPs is appealing. Use him in in GPPs and even some hybrid lineups.

Kevin Huerter (3600/3300): Huerter is my favorite 6th man play of the slate. Prince being out opens up a lot of minutes on this slate, and Huerter is in prime position to benefit from it. He is basically min-priced on both sites, so he won’t kill you even if he doesn’t put up plenty of points. His DFS Army projected ceiling of 35.4 FDPs today is something I want in GPPs and even hybrid lineups.

Tony Parker (4300/4200): Tony Parker is a strictly deep GPP flyer tonight. He has been solid when he gets the minutes this season. There is a blowout potential in this game which could give Parker some more playing time. However, I’m not in the market of predicting blowouts (especially this season), so limit exposure here.

Jeremy Lin (3800/3900): The same holds true for Lin as it does for Parker. Lin is in a position to see a few extra minutes tonight due to the Prince situation. He could also benefit if this game gets out of hand. He’s cheap enough, but I’ll prefer playing the cheaper Huerter over him. Pivoting to Lin over Huerter does have some appeal in GPPs to get away from the projected high ownership on Huerter.

Forwards

Dewayne Dedmon (5300/4400): Dewayne Dedmon has been splitting minutes with Alex Len at center almost evenly since returning from injury. He has also been really good this season in plus matchups. The matchup tonight is a good one, and it is more situated to a Dedmon kind of game. There’s potential that he gets into a groove tonight and gets a little more run. He’s usable in GPPs and Hybrid lineups.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (4100/4400): MKG’s season has not been a great one so far. He hasn’t performed really well in the minutes he has been getting, although he has been really consistent around the 22 FDP mark. At his price on FD, he is good for 5x value. That’s not too bad for a low-priced punt on FD. I’m comfortable punting with him in all formats on FD. On DK however, I’ll rather go with Miles Bridges that MKG, since he is much cheaper there.

John Henson (4000/3700): Henson is a solid player who just doesn’t get minutes. On the few opportunities where he has got extended run this season, Henson has far exceeded value. Given the way the Bucks like playing their starters heavy minutes, it’s difficult to predict when Henson gets some extra minutes, but tonight is as good a night as any. Should he get 20-25 minutes, he could easily be in the GPP winning lineup. I like him as a GPP punt play, especially in a weak PF pool.
