Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande . I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
Today’s article is VIP only. We have a five-game slate on our hands. While there’s not a lot of action off the bench today, there are a few excellent plays to look at. The analysis done here is generally for both FD and DK, unless otherwise mentioned. Without much ado, let’s dive into these plays!
The wins have been piling up in the DFS Army the past few weeks! Shoutout to Loos for this win!

CORE PLAYS
Domantas Sabonis (7000/6700): Sabonis makes the most of the minutes he gets. Having one of the better PPM stats in the league. The guy is a beast and has been on a tear recently. He gets a Suns team who can’t defend anyone today. I love the matchup, and while he is pricey, he has an excellent floor and high ceiling. Playable in all formats.
Kent Bazemore (5800/5100): Bazemore was sent to the bench after returning from injury. That seems to have done the trick as is shot is back. Today he gets a defensively inept Heat team to feast on. I love him in all formats, and he has the ability to win a GPP for someone here.
Serge Ibaka (6000/5700): Ibaka’s price has dropped drastically on FD after a few subpar performances. At 6k, I love the upside and stable floor he brings. Ibaka is still playing his normal role on this team and is a threat to break out for 40+ any night. 6k on FD is not too much to pay for his floor in cash games and upside. Love him in all formats.
GPP PLAYS
Monte Morris (4500/4100): Everyone is talking about Torrey Craig today. If Gary Harris is out, Craig will be a very popular play, and Monte Morris will be all but forgotten. That’s the way I like it. Craig had a good performance last game, but rather than chase that with the rest of the industry, I like going to the lower owned Morris here, who already has an impressive performance against these Lakers.
DeAndre’ Bembry (4900/4000): Don’t look now, but Bembry finally got over 25 minutes in his last 2 games and right along turned those into 42.4 and 35.2 FDPs outing. Bembry is an extremely capable player for fantasy purposes when he gets the minutes. He has a high ceiling, but his floor is also extremely low. In an excellent matchup against the Heat, Bembry could hit that ceiling again if he gets the minutes. GPP only play.
Mason Plumlee (5500/3500): This one is a DK only GPP play. Mason Plumlee is severely underpriced on DK, given his recent performances and the matchup against the Lakers. While all the attention has been on Jokic and will be there tonight, Plumlee has been quietly putting up and impressive season off the bench. He gets a chance today to have another one of those. He carries 10-12x upside on DK. I sure want a share of that in GPPs!
Those are your Sixth Men for today. Good luck out there!
