Massive slate today on both sites! The DK slate starts a little earlier at 7 PM ET, while the FD slate starts at 7:30 PM ET. There are so many players in good spots today off the bench. Today, I’ll provide coverage on some core plays and then some GPP special plays. These guys should help you afford all the studs you want while providing nice value. Recall, pricing is FD/DK on here. Let’s dive in!
Congrats to DFS Army Member Kellieo7o for his $23K takedown yesterday!

CORE PLAYS
Trey Burke (4900/4400): Trey Burke is on a roll right now and for some reason, both FD and DK fail to price him accordingly. He gets a good matchup against the Pelicans tonight and is too cheap on both sites. Given his recent performance, you can expect his ownership to be through the roof. He is an excellent cash and hybrid play on both sites. There is merit to fading him and the ownership in GPPs.
Marcus Morris (4700/4900): Al Horford is out tonight. This will open some usage for Marcus Morris, who is already in a great spot against the porous Hawks defense. While people will flock to the Celtics stars in this game, I like getting my exposure with Morris. He is playable in all formats today.
Serge Ibaka (7100/6200): Dwight Howard is out. As a result, the Wizards are going to play a lot of small ball. The Raptors will respond by playing Ibaka at C for most of the game. Increased minutes, usage, and a plus matchup make Ibaka an extremely good play in all formats today. I love him on both sites.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (3900/3500): Caldwell-Pope has finally found his shot for the Lakers this season. He is hitting his 3s consistently and as a result is getting more minutes off the bench. He has averaged 27 MPG over his last three games. Factor in the probability Josh Hart misses this game due to injury and you have all the makings for a vintage KCP game. The matchup for KCP is not an easy one, but he is too cheap for the minutes he’ll get tonight. He is an all-format play on FD with the drop one format. On DK, he is more of a GPP play.

GPP PLAYS
Jordan Clarkson (5200/5300): Clarkson is the leader of the second unit for the Cavs, and he has done a remarkable job so far this season. Today he faces a Sixers team that has given up huge games to opposing guards. Clarkson is in a pace up game, and his usage is around 29% on the season. He makes for an excellent GPP play especially on FD tonight.
Jae Crowder (4800/4400): Crowder is the definition of hit or miss this season. The consistent Crowder of last season is gone and in his place is this version who can win you a GPP if his shot is falling or could lay a dud. Luckily for Crowder, he gets a Lakers team that is known for getting lazy at the defensive end. This is an opportunity to play some who could far exceed value at low single digits ownership.
Jeremy Lin (4500/3800): Lin has been all over the place recently, but on the season, he has been good off the bench. He is not in a good spot tonight, but given the potential for a blowout here, he could get minutes. This is a very risky play and one I’ll only recommend for people MMEing. Make sure to have Lin in your MME player pool on both sites.
Julius Randle (7500/7500): Randle keeps doing work off the bench, averaging around 27 MPG in his last handful. He is projected for 27 minutes today against a Knicks team that just can’t defend bigs. I like the outlook for him. However, he is a little pricey on both sites, relegating him to strictly GPP territory.
David Nwaba (3900/3700): Nwaba killed a lot of lineups last time out. He spent so much time trying to stop LBJ, he forgot how to shoot. Due to recency bias, his ownership will be minuscule. This is the perfect moment for us to get him. He should be back to the bench today, which is where we prefer him as well. He’s GPP viable on both sites.
Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today! Make sure to join the DFS Army and get access to our content, tools, coaches, and community that shortens your growth curve for NBA DFS.
