CORE PLAYS
Spencer Dinwiddie (6300/5900): Dinwiddie runs the second unit for the Nets. In this capacity, he gets around 30 MPG since Levert went down. The matchup today for him is an excellent one, and it can only get better if the Mavericks lose a few key players to injury. I love everything about this spot for Dinwiddie. He is an excellent all-format play on both sites.
Domantas Sabonis (7100/6500): Sabonis price is rising on both sites, but he is worth every penny of it. With Oladipo out, the Pacers need the best out of Sabonis and he is doing just that. On paper, the matchup is not the best for Sabonis, but that hasn’t stopped him. In a tough matchup last game against the Jazz, he put up 45.3 FDPs. I like the outlook for Sabonis here tonight, and he is a core play.
Julius Randle (7500/7000): Randle has been quietly taking care of business off the bench all season. Both sites have finally caught up to this and jacked up his price, making him fairly priced. That said, his matchup today is a phenomenal one. We have seen centers have success going up against Embiid and Randle fits the mold of the kind of center that could trouble him a little. He is playable in all formats.
Derrick Rose (6400/6300): It wasn’t that long-ago Derrick Rose was the rage all over the DFS community. How things change rapidly here! Rose price has continued to drop from its lofty highs, and it is finally at a point where we can consider playing him. He continues to get a consistent 27-30 minutes off the bench and given his relatively high floor and ceiling, he makes for a good play in all formats at this price.
Dario Saric (4600/4200): Saric has quietly taken over the lion share of minutes at the PF position from Gibson. Averaging 28 MPG to Gibson’s 20 over the last two games. So far, Saric hasn’t done much with the minutes. However, he is in a good spot tonight against a Denver defense that has been known to give up some huge games to PFs. He’ll also benefit from playing with the second unit here. At his price, it doesn’t take much for him to hit value, making him a value cash play.

GPP PLAYS
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (3900/3500): With Rondo out, KCP is averaging 28 minutes a game. His shots have been falling as well, making him an elite weapon for the Lakers and LBJ. He’ll get his opportunities to light up the Cavs from downtown. This could be a huge day for him!
Jordan Clarkson (5600/5200): SGs have had tremendous success against the Lakers this season. Clarkson is averaging an impressive 28.5% usage rate off the bench this season. While the narrative has been focused squarely on LBJ returning to face the Cavs, don’t sleep on Clarkson facing his former team. He’ll want to show them up, and this is the perfect matchup for it.
Larry Nance Jr. (6000/5600): I’ll start off by saying Nance is a little too expensive on both sites for me. That said, we the spot is great for him, and he has the ceiling to take down a GPP if things fall his way. This play is not for the faint of hearts, but for those MMEing, make sure you have a few shares here.
Trey Burke (4900/4200): Burke is feeling rejuvenated right now, having found new life off the bench. He is extremely hot right now on the DFS Army “Who’s Hot” matrix, spotting a 13.72 FDPs increase in his last 3 games over his previous 10. Burke gets a tough matchup tonight, but given his recent form and his price, he is worth a few shots in GPPs.
Jalen Brunson (3600/3400): The Brunson play depends on a few things happening. The most important of which is JJ Barea being ruled out. In such a scenario, Brunson will get 20-25 minutes off the bench and is a nice punt on FD with the drop one format. The outlook gets even better for Brunson if Dennis Smith Jr. is not able to suit up tonight. In this case, Brunson becomes an incredible value play on both sites, as he will see close to 30 minutes.
Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today! Make sure to join the DFS Army and get access to our content, tools, coaches, and community that shortens your growth curve for NBA DFS.
