DabbingPuggle’s NFL DFS “Draw Plays” for Fanduel or Draftkings Week 10

Welcome everyone, to this weeks edition of Draw Plays!! I’m your host DabbingPuggle, bringing you this weeks insights on the best WR/CB match-ups for your GPP’s. A quick note before we dive in. I like to have fun and make money; I plan on doing both things every Sunday for the next few months. If you like fun, jump in my room #puggle-nfl on Sunday morning 10-1. If you like making money, be sure to read all the articles our NFL staff has for you each week. If you don’t like either, take a hike. Get it? Hut Hut Hike… let’s do this Army!!

Tier 1 Draw Plays

Tyler Boyd Vs. P.J. Williams

No A.J. Green in this game and Boyd already had a 21% target rate. Often I feel like I need to break down a whole paragraph on why this is a good play but I am going to simplify things this week…… I can make this one really simple! P.J. Williams was better last week albeit against a maybe not 100% Cooper Kupp who still found the end zone. He’s still a way below average defender. The Saints score a lot of points… That means the Bengals have to throw the football to stay in the game. Are they throwing it to John Ross, or Alex Erickson… not really. It’s going to be Boyd everyone knows he’s going to see a ton of targets. Chalk play for sure… but sometimes there is necessary chalk.

 Michael Thomas Vs. William Jackson

Jackson looks human his year. He’s still a great corner and I don’t like to pick on him… but Michael Thomas is something else. Hope you listened last week when I said that 200 yards wouldn’t be surprising. I don’t just say things people… I do research every week to make it easier for you. Here’s the deal, Dez may or may not suit up, still I think it will take him time to get up to speed so I’m not worried about targets being taken away from Thomas. He is still going to see a bunch of them and right now the guy is nearly impossible to cover. One of the better places to pay up for this week at WR.

Robert Woods Vs. Shaquill Griffin

I don’t think I’ve gone after Griffin as much as I should have this year. The sophmore hasn’t been terrible, but he’s been far from good and Woods is a model of consistency with upside. The Rams have a 30 point implied team total and Woods has a nice floor. Griffin has struggled to defend possession receivers on the outside and should continue those struggles this week. Brandin Cooks has a nice match up as well with Tre Flowers this week at a similar price, and serves as a good gpp pivot to get Rams exposure. My preferred play is still Woods with the safety he provides.

Taylor Gabriel Vs. Teez Tabor

A couple of weeks ago Taylor Gabriel was a big thing and now it seems as if we all forgot about him in Chicago. There is good reason for him to bounce back extremely strong in this spot as it’s one of the best on the board. Tabor is sporting a 22% opposing target percentage and an 86% opposing catch rate…. yeah MJ Stewart like catch rate right there. You all know how I feel about my boy MJ but he’s not projected to start this week (it’s about time) so I’m going to attack his stunt double in Tabor. The best part about Gabriel is he’s extremely cost effective and in a great spot this week. Reminds me a little bit of a guy named Albert Wilson who I may have wrote up one week. Not saying he’ll have that type of week, but Gabriel is perfectly capable of repeating his week 4 and 6 performances.

Tier 2 Draw Plays

Julio Jones Vs. T.J. Carrie

T.J. Carrie is not someone I’ve attacked this season but I want to ride the Julio train now that the drought is over. He has 3 straight games of 100 yards and 10+ targets. How could you possibly go wrong? It’s going to be really difficult for him to under-perform with his workload as he’s seen his target percentage go all the way up to 30% which leads the league among qualified wide receivers. That’s it. I told you this week I’m getting short and to the point. Point is here that Julio is a workhorse and will continue to be one.

Tyreek Hill Vs. Jamar Taylor

I haven’t gotten to put Tyreek in here as much as I’d like this season but this is a terrific spot for him. Jamar Taylor has been atrocious and struggles with…. yeah you guessed it, recovery speed. Tyreek should burn through this guy on Sunday and have a really solid line coming off two lackluster weeks. The only fear here is that KC gets up so big in this one that they take their foot off the gas pedal. Andy Reid has yet to do that this season though and KC has a weird way of just allowing teams to stick around so I do not think that Tyreek has limited upside in this one.

Keenan Allen Vs. Leon Hall

Leon Hall is an enigma. He has been up and down this season but overall, better than I expected in coverage. This is evident by his 10% opposing target rate. That is most definitely not something I ever aim to exploit. There is one problem… when they throw at him, he let’s up catches. A lot of them. 79% to be exact. Guess who was outstanding last week when they threw him the football? Keenan Allen! I like this spot again for Allen but only for GPP’s as we need to see if his targets start to get a little safer again.

CONTRARIAN PLAY ALERT

OBJ Vs. Richard Sherman

Odell Beckham Jr. facing off against Sherman would be something we’d really look forward to if both teams weren’t just awful. Sherman looks like the Pro Bowl version of himself. He looks really really good and I’m surprised. I went after him once this year and failed and I’m going to do it again here. I may have to hold some hands and tell you this is a GPP play only if it isn’t obvious. This is also going to be on the prime time slate so if you’re only playing the main don’t worry, you don’t have to stomach it. Beckham has been quietly outstanding this season minus the touchdowns on a team with no line and bad QB play. Pat Shurmur came out this week and said Eli “needs to play better.” What a brilliant quote that is… Well, I am going with Eli is going to do everything he can to feature Beckham in this one and he should have plenty of opportunities to produce on Monday Night Football. A lot of people will shy away from this match-up but I think it is an excellent place we should expect volume.

Value Town

I am quantifying value on each site by price where on FanDuel I am looking for players priced below 6K and DraftKings priced below 5k. These are the guys in GPP’s that are those targeted punts that we need to beat large fields and walk away with the trophy.

Think about this for a moment, you look at the teams at the top and say to yourself, “How in the world did this guy think rostering player X was a good idea?” Well, these are the guys who allow you to get all the heavy hitters in the same lineup. You want a swag bag, you want the big bucks, these are the guys in week 10 I think could help you get there.

FanDuel                                                    DraftKings

1. Kenny Golladay 5.8K                                                                      1 . David Moore 3.9K

2. Christian Kirk 5.4K                                                                         2.  Tyrell Williams 4.5K

3. Keelan Cole 4.8K                                                                               3.  DeSean Jackson 4.9K

4. Larry Fitzgerald 5.8K                                                                       4.  Christian Kirk 4.9K

5. Tre’Quan Smith 5.6K                                                                             5.  Tre’Quan Smith 4.6K
