We have a 2 game slate tonight. I believe they will both be competitive. Curry will be playing tonight. There will be a small adjustment so I do trust that the Pelicans will hang around for 4 quarters before finally losing at the end. I am more worried that Toronto will blow Cleveland out than Golden State blowing the Pelicans out. I do think that both games stay close enough where we don’t have to worry about people sitting though. Let’s dive in!
Cleveland at Toronto (-6.5)(215)
New Orleans at Golden State (-11)(227)
Point Guards
- Rondo
- VanVleet
- Lowry
- Wright
- Curry
- Hill
I will keep rostering Rondo until he is 8k. I hope you keep doing the same. VanVleet is looking healthy again and is underpriced. We want to take advantage of pricing errors. I will have a bunch of him on Fanduel. He is a touch under-priced on DK – but not as much as he is on FD. I really like Lowry as a direct pivot off Rondo. I’m happy with what Rondo is giving me but Lowry has the ability to outscore him at a much lesser ownership. Rondo will be heavily owned yet again. Curry is a high risk / high reward play. I want to see him play one game first. The main reason behind this is because we really aren’t getting any price discount of any sort. It actually feels like he is over-priced for having a month off. If he goes off, so be it. I list him only because I do know if he goes off, he will be in the winning lineup. So grab a small percentage of him if you plan on MMEing. I like Wright and Hill as mid-tier options. Hill is extremely hit and miss. I love playing Delon Wright at home
Shooting Guards
- DeRozan
- Holiday
- Thompson
- Korver
- Smith
Here is the deal here at SG. I really will only be focusing on the top 3 for my rosters. If you want to dig down for the value you can go to Korver or Smith. I plan on paying up here and mixing and matching the top 3 SGs. I still like Thompson even though Curry is back. For the most part, it will help him. He will have more open looks.
Small Forwards
- Kevin Durant
- Lebron James
- E’Twaun Moore
- Andre Iguodala
- Darius Miller
- OG Anunoby
KD is my top play tonight. I really do love Lebron but that price is hard to eat. I am going to have a hard time fitting him in and I see a lot of people running into that same problem tonight. It will help lower his ownership. This position on FD is ugly after Lebron so I will be doing my best to try and fit both in without destroying the rest of my lineup. If I have to pay down I really do not mind Moore. He has actually done fairly well against the Warriors this year. If he gets 30 minutes in a close game he will easily exceed his price. You know what you’ll get with Andre – about 15-25. Nothing special. But at least you know what you’ll get. Miller and Anunoby are your punt value plays. Anunoby is super risky and has a low ceiling. However, he will see increased minutes tonight guarding Lebron. It’s just a matter if he does anything with them. I won’t be going outside of the top 4 guys here.
Power Forwards
- Draymond Green
- Kevin Love
- Pascal Siakam
- Kevon Looney
- Serge Ibaka
- Nikola Mirotic
Draymond finally got a nice bump in price which he desperately needed. It was robbery before. He isn’t an auto lock tonight with Curry coming back. He will stuff the stat sheet and is still my top PF tonight though. He just won’t be needed to get as many points. That’s right. Kevin love is listed 2nd. His price finally came down to the point where I am baited. He still has 40-50 point upside. It’s a new series against a team he has had good success against. Siakam and Looney are my two favorite value plays. Looney is receiving high praise from Golden State and most likely will start tonight. Siakam has always done well against the Cavs. Ibaka’s price is very intriguing. He has a tendency to disappear in playoffs but usually comes out strong at the beginning of a series. He is at a great buy-low spot tonight. Mirotic is your high priced punt play tonight. A low owned guy who could drop 50. I’d rather just find the money for Draymond if I pay up though.
Centers
- Anthony Davis
- Tristan Thompson
- Jval
Center is cut and dry. You’ve got 3 to chose from. Each at very different price points. I like Thompson the most of anyone. He is just so damn cheap on Fanduel. Sorry DK players. He isn’t cheap there. If Thompson wasn’t so cheap on Fanduel I’d do everything in my power to play AD. He is capable of 70+ tonight. I’ll have little to none of Jval and I am perfectly OK with that. On DK – Start with AD then go from there.
