NBA DFS SATURDAY SHOWDOWN

2 game slate tonight with some interesting changes.  Players have had their min prices reduced on Fanduel.  Anthony Davis is now a center.  This should shake things up a bit.  I am happy Fanduel did that.  It will spread out ownership slightly.  Let’s dive right in.

Point Guards

  1. Rajon Rondo
  2. Terry Rozier
  3. Eric Bledsoe
  4. Steph Curry
  5. Delladova (value)
  6. Clark (value)

Playoff Rondo is easily your safest bet at PG.  It’s hard to not just load him up.  Rozier is going to get 35+ minutes so I like him as my 2nd Point Guard.  Next, you have Bledsoe – Here is the deal with Bledsoe.  He is prone to having mental mistakes.  He fouls a lot.  He misses defensive assignments.  He turns the ball over a lot.  Coach Prunty has shown he isn’t afraid to go to Dellie quick if he has to.  He isn’t a safe option BUT he can go nuts.  He has the most upside out of any of the point guards in my opinion.  Yes, Even more than Steph Curry.  I don’t trust Curry tonight coming off an injury and having Jrue Holiday being glued on him.  The main reason I list him here is that he might go severely under-owned.  Anytime you can get someone at lower ownership with 50 point potential…you should take a shot.  Dellie and Clark are your value guys here at PG.  Both will see 15-20 minutes.  I’m giving the slight nod to Delladova due to being a veteran in game 7 on the road.  We want that.

Shooting Guards

  1. Jrue Holiday
  2. Klay Thompson
  3. Marcus Smart
  4. Jaylen Brown
  5. Brogdon
  6. Middleton

Jrue is the top SG and highest priced.  Jrue will be needed to do a lot if the Pelicans want to keep this game close.  I love him here.  Thompson is next in line.  Rondo will most likely be on him and he will have tons of open looks.  Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart will both see all the minutes they can handle.  I don’t mind pairing them both up.  I really do prefer Marcus Smart.  The Bucks will be focusing on stopping Jaylen Brown.  Brogdon is a great value option.  I have Middleton listed because he will see 40 minutes.  However, Smart has done a tremendous job on him.  He will have a bunch of ownership too so I don’t see the edge in picking him.

Small Forwards

  1. Giannis
  2. Durant
  3. Tatum
  4. Iguodala (value)
  5. Darius Miller (value)
  6. Solomon Hill (value)

I am all in on Giannis.  Game 7.  He will play every damn minute if he has too.  It’s not even a question.  I rarely go 100% on a player but I might here.  I will see if I can pair Durant up with him as well.  Durant is going to have a field day against Pelicans.  After the top two I am not that thrilled with anyone.  Tatum is good for around 30 and he is priced accordingly.  I do like Iguodala for his price.  If you want to grab some guys with super low ownership that will allow you to get AD.  Look to Miller or Hill.  I prefer Miller over Hill but both should see 15-20 minutes to help stop Durant.

Power Forwards

  1. Draymond Green
  2. Jabari Parker
  3. Nikola Mirotic
  4. Kevon Looney

Draymond is your go-to here.  He just does everything.  He doesn’t need to score to hit value.  Jabari is an obvious play for me tonight.  He will destroy his price tag.  I like Looney here for value.  I see him being thrown out there to try and stop AD.  He will get you around 25 minutes.  Doesn’t mean he will do anything in those minutes but he is an OK option.  I think Mirotic will go overlooked here…He always has the ability to drop 50 no matter who is guarding him.  As I continually repeat – Anytime you can get a guy who can drop 50 at low ownership you take a shot.  I didn’t list Marcus Morris because I think he will be the odd man out tonight with Marcus Smart playing more.

Centers

  1. Anthony Davis
  2. Al Horford
  3. Thon Maker

Honestly – I really only wanted to list Davis and Horford.  Those are going to be my only two choices tonight.  Thon is going to run 25 minutes out and is super cheap.  It just is too hard to pass up on a possible 70 from AD and a possible from Horford to get a 5-20 from Thon.  Up to you though.  I don’t trust any of the Warriors rotations for centers so I won’t even chance it there.

Good Luck!
