NBA DFS PLAYOFF PARTY 4-27

We have three game 6 matchups tonight!  Are you not entertained?  Hey, Browns Fans – At least you have the Cavs!  Mayfield?!?!  Really?!  Hopefully, he proves the world wrong!  Bucks and Celtics are going to 7.  What a series.  So we have Washington and Indiana at home fighting for their playoff lives and OKC going into Utah in a win or go home scenario as well.  One thing I absolutely love about these do or die games is that the star players are going to play 40+ minutes.  Let’s dive in!

Point Guards:

  1. John Wall
  2. Russell Westbrook
  3. Lowry
  4. Wright

I really want to try and push Wall and Westbrook in my lineup.  Both these cats are gonna go out and play 40 minutes.  60-70 point upside for 11k is hard to pass up.  Push comes to Shove I would go Wall over Westbrook.  I know that game will be competitive until the end.  Currently, OKC is struggling with Gobert.  Westbrook’s weakness is 8-foot tall Frenchmen sitting in the lane.  He went off immediately when Gobert got into foul trouble last game.  A few things have to go right for Russ tonight but he still is gonna play 40+ minutes no matter what.  Russ at 40+ minutes is hard to pass up.  If you wanna pay down – Lowry and Wright are both fantastic options to save some salary.  There are two punt-type players I didn’t list because I probably won’t be playing them myself.  However, they are Cory Joseph and whoever starts between Hill or Calderon.  Going that route will differentiate your lineup big time.  The “nuts” lineup did have Joseph last slate.  Super risky though as they can kill your lineup.  Worth a mention though if you wanna get frisky.

Shooting Guards

  1. Mitchell
  2. DeRozan
  3. Dipo
  4. Korver
  5. Beal
  6. Abrines (saaaaay whaaaat?!?!?!)

Mitchell is going to go out and play every damn minute tonight if he has to.  Utah is going to treat this like a game 7.  They have to.  They do not want to go back to OKC for a game 7.  DeRozan has already spoken out how he wants to be more aggressive.  Look for him to keep scoring.  Dipo is an enigma to me.  I know what he is capable of and his ownership will be lower.  Cavs gameplan has really limited him.  I’ll have some exposure to him just in case but I prefer the other 2 above.  LBJ trusts Korver – Keep playing Korver as your value play for the Cavs.  Ignore the rest of the Cavs SGs.  I also like Beal here too but I’ll have the least exposure to him out of the above 4.  Abrines?!?!  Yes.  He is getting 20+ minutes now and won’t have any ownership.  Do I recommend sticking him in your one and only lineup?  No.  He is a punt play.  Someone you play if you run a ton of lineups.

Small Forwards:

  1. Lebron James
  2. Paul George
  3. Oubre
  4. Stephenson
  5. Bogdonavic

Lebron is getting 40+ minutes a game.  Not sure how you fade him.  PG13 is going to play 40+ minutes as well tonight for 8k?  My god.  I love just plugging these top two guys in and moving on.  You have two great value options in Stephenson and Oubre.  You can toss in some Bogdanovic for the GPP winning upside he provides as well.  He won’t have a lot of ownership.  I’ll be mixing and matching the top 4 in a majority of my lineups with Lebron being the front-runner.  If you want to get off the wall crazy you can plug in some CJ miles or Royce O Neale.  They are super risky and will have hardly any ownership.

Power Forwards:

  1. Sabonis
  2. Young
  3. Crowder
  4. Morris
  5. Favors
  6. Anthony

Sabonis and Crowder went off last time.  I had that combo last time and I really like going right back to that combo tonight.  I think it’ll be popular but I don’t care.  I love Young if you want to pay up here.  He didn’t get steals or blocks last game and it showed in his fantasy score.  He will be extremely aggressive tonight.  Markieff is your dark horse.  He has a 40-50 point game just sitting in him waiting to explode.  Anthony and Favors are trending downwards.  I don’t mind them in some lineups but they aren’t my top choices.  Love is shit.  I might have him in 1 or 2 lineups just in case.

Centers:

  1. Jval
  2. Gobert
  3. Gortat

That is it for centers.  I won’t be going anywhere else from these 3.  Jval and Gortat will be popular.  Gobert has GPP winning upside.  People will want to save money at Center tonight so you can get Rudy lower owned.  He has 50 point potential.
