POINT GUARDS:
* ALL FORMATS *
Russell Westbrook (OKC vs LAL)
On a slate full of questions, Russ is the safest play on the board about 90% of the time. If Russ doesn’t have a big day, it’ll be due to a blowout.
Terry Rozier (BOS vs POR)
Two straight fireworks shows have skyrocketed his price, but he is the only true PG on the Celtics roster. It’s a big day for the Boston area, Rozier can definitely get the party started earlier today.
Damian Lillard (POR @ BOS)
Dennis Schroder had a lot of success 1-on-1 against Rozier on Friday night, so now it’s Dame’s turn. He’s had decent numbers over the last few years against Boston.
Kemba Walker (CHA @ PHX)
It’s the Suns, don’t overthink it.
* GPP *
Fred VanVleet (TOR vs MEM)
Massive upside at times this season.
Jarrett Jack (NYK vs ATL)
I hate Jack but it is a good matchup and anything can happen against ATL.
Andrew Harrison (MEM @ TOR)
Not a great matchup, but should get plenty of playing time… Has 30+ FDP in two of last three games.
SHOOTING GUARDS:
* ALL FORMATS *
Nicolas Batum (CHA @ PHX)
One of the best matchups in basketball
CJ McCollum (POR @ BOS)
Celtics are missing a lot of their best defenders… CJ could definitely take advantage of that.
Devin Booker (PHX vs CHA)
H2H matchup with Kemba, lot more appealing that going against Batum.
* GPP *
Tim Hardaway Jr (NYK vs ATL)
Taking on his former team… playing for his old former team. It’s not THAT confusing.
Jordan Clarkson (LAL @ OKC)
Look to see if Ingram misses today’s games, that will make Clarkson much more viable.
Pat Connaughton (POR @ BOS)
Usually performs well when Shabazz Napier is inactive, like he is today.
Jeremy Lamb (CHA @ PHX)
Playing well of late, could get some extra run if the Hornets get up big.
Caris LeVert (BKN vs MIL)
Only played 19 mins on Friday, his first game back from a groin injury. Not a bad salary-saver.
SMALL FORWARDS:
* ALL FORMATS *
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL @ BKN)
At least 52 DKP/55 FDP in five of the last six meetings vs BKN.
Paul George (OKC vs LAL)
Good history against his hometown team… and possibly the team he’ll be playing for next season?
Josh Jackson (PHX vs CHA)
Continues to get huge minutes.
* GPP *
TJ Warren (PHX vs CHA)
SFs have done well against CHA this season
Jaylen Brown (BOS vs POR)
Thrust into a huge role now with all of the Celtics injuries.
DeMarre Carroll (BKN vs MIL)
Absolutely sucked last game, still capable of posting big numbers at his price.
POWER FORWARDS:
* ALL FORMATS *
Frank Kaminsky (CHA @ PHX)
No Marvin Williams once again… fire up Frank.
John Henson (MIL @ BKN)
Takes on a very bad BKN team down low, should rack up the rebounds and maybe even some put-backs.
Jayson Tatum (BOS vs POR)
Celtics still have a ton of injuries… Tatum was an integral part of their success on Friday, in basically the same situation.
John Collins (ATL @ NYK)
No Ersan Ilyasova today, should give Collins more run off the bench.
* GPP *
Kristaps Porzingis (NYK vs ATL)
Priced up a little bit for this matchup, but it is ATL… anyone can do their thing.
Serge Ibaka / Pascal Siakam (TOR vs MEM)
PF is one of the more vulnerable spots for MEM… Ibaka had some nice performances before last game, a tough matchup against Aminu. Siakam could end up getting close to 20 minutes if the Raptors handle their business early on in this one.
Kyle Kuzma / Larry Nance Jr (LAL @ OKC)
More viable if Brandon Ingram is out today, but we probably won’t know that before lock.
Al-Farouq Aminu (POR @ BOS)
Way too cheap.
Jerami Grant (OKC vs LAL)
He’s played well over the last few games, could get extra run if OKC beats up on the Lakers.
CENTERS:
* ALL FORMATS *
Enes Kanter (NYK vs ATL)
ATL sucks everywhere… especially down low.
Jarrett Allen (BKN vs MIL)
MIL sucks down low… Allen is now starting for the Nets, and he is getting incrementally better with each game that passes.
Julius Randle (LAL @ OKC)
Mostly around that 30-point mark of late… Solid production at a decent cost.
* GPP *
Jusuf Nurkic (POR @ BOS)
Too cheap for his massive upside, BOS becoming more vulnerable down low as the season goes on.
