It happened again, I can’t make this up. We had another $100,000 winner last Monday night:

We’ve had eleven different winners of $50,000 – $250,000 over the past several months, including another $50,000 winner this on FanDuel! Life is good for our members and we’ve seen a 100% growth in the company and upped our staff to 25 strong, handsome, and brilliant members (massive embellishment there). It’s been quite a ride and the beautiful thing is that we have another three months of the NBA season to consistently grow our bankroll until MLB is here. Slow and steady wins the race as far as bankroll goes and that will be important for today’s slate of games.
You can read about them HERE at our Wall of Fame!

PG
Chris Paul – The last time CP3 faced Denver he put up 52 DraftKings points in just 27-minutes. Paul looks healthy and has played 30-plus minutes in three out of the last four games, resulting in three games of 46-plus fantasy points. The Nuggets are allowing opposing point guards to average 11.0 APG over the last 10-games and grab 2.0 steals and 2.8 3PM. Those are three stats that Paul can rack up in a hurry while not needing to accumulate 20-plus real points and still hit 50-plus fantasy points. On DraftKings, going with the second level of studs for a slightly more budget friendly approach can pay off in spades for the small field GPPs.
Ben Simmons – At a nice mid-8k price range we can take a PG on DraftKings and a Power Forward (love that) on FanDuel that has immense upside on Friday. The 76ers have a 113.5 point implied total which is currently the highest on the board. If Rondo regains the starting spot Friday, then Simmons would have one of the best matchups on the entire slate regardless of position. With a healthy 23% usage rate over the past month and a 1.17 FPM average over 35.1 MPG, Simmons has elite upside for his current price tag.
SG
Jimmy Butler – He’s the ideal “Ladder System” shooting guard on DK and small forward on FanDuel. He represents elite upside and a strong floor that can be a foundation for your lineup. The Bulls defense is allowing opposing shooting guards to make 48% of their field goal attempts (the 4th highest rate in the NBA in the last 10-games) and 52.1 FanDuel points per game over the last 5-games. He’s scored 38-plus fantasy points in nine straight games including three games of 50 or more fantasy points. He’s my one of my favorite players on the entire slate to build around and for one lineup DFS players, Butler provides security with a ceiling.
Donovan Mitchell – His opponent, the Charlotte Hornets, have given up 30.9 real PPG (2nd most in the NBA) and 4.2 3PM per game (3rd most) and a ridiculous 52% field goal rate (2nd most) to opposing shooting guards in the last 10-games. Mitchell has been terrible in the last two games, however, Rodney Hood was just traded and minutes are zero concern from this point forward. His usage rate should continue to hover around 28% as it has over the last four weeks.
At just $6,900 on DraftKings, Donovan Mitchell is a superb large field GPP option and I will discuss at length what to do with the rest of the Jazz on our members only 1 on 1 coaches pre-game Slack Chat. Join up if you want the pro’s player pools and strategy for each slate!

SF
LeBron James – His entire team is basically not going to play tonight and LeBron will be playing all five positions with no substitutes. I am just kidding, kind of…LeBron is obviously back into try hard mode and even though his new pieces of the puzzle will not be available tonight his old clunky misshapen ones will not be clogging up space and killing his vibe. At just $11,500 he’s a bargain on FanDuel and I wouldn’t fade him for one second in cash games. His matchup with the Hawks is pristine (a 112.0 implied team total for the Cavs) and his roster situation is ideal for him to explode. Don’t get cute here.
PF
Dario Saric – He’s an great GPP option tonight because of one thing, Nikola Mirotic price tag. Mirotic is the exciting new piece in the Pelicans offense and he’s playing heavy minutes. Everyone knows when his shot is falling he has a fantastic ceiling and can shoot you up the standings. However, Saric is priced at similar price points on both FanDuel and DraftKings while offering the same exact ceiling and a much better floor. His usage rate is actually about 5% higher than Mirotic has had with NO thus far and the Sixers have a higher implied team total. I love this for large field GPPs.
Lauri Markkanen – He’s the forgotten man on the Bulls while the shiny more popular toy, Bobby Portis, has been soaking up all the power forward ownership on every slate he’s been a part of recently. Portis is still an ELITE cash game option on FanDuel because he’s just $5,700 and should continue to have a 30% usage rate with the second-unit. However, Markkanen should have a similar usage rate with the first unit and LaVine and Lauri will be asked to shoulder the load offensively for the Bulls.
C
Rudy Gobert – At just $6,800 he’s a plug and play option on DraftKings. His usage is only in the mid-teens right now, however, with Hood off the court he actually sees a usage bump and his price tag leaves a lot of wiggle room his scoring ceiling. The Hornets are on the second leg of a road back to back and could be tired traveling into Utah. Gobert is strong enough to bang around down low with a tired Dwight Howard and should be able to win this matchup. The Stifle Tower is an elite cash game option on DraftKings.
Hassan Whiteside – He’s the ideal GPP option on FanDuel because of one reason; last game he finished with 33-minutes played. Kelly Olynyk likely won’t be playing Friday and that could mean Whiteside will be asked to run a bit more in the fourth-quarter, which has been a rarity this season. The Bucks have allowed opposing centers to score on a video-game like 66% of field goal attempts in the last 10-games. Whiteside should absolutely dominate down low and could finish the game with a 15-15 points/rebounds type game. Add in a handful of blocks and we are looking at a mid-40’s type score on FanDuel at a mid-7k price tag.
Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about the dozen other premier plays, along with identifying those options I will provide specific designations as to what to use them in and what type of strategy to take if fading the chalk. There are also a couple very troubling issues some teams will have tonight with rest and travel concerns that could leave them looking like they’re playing with weights around their ankles. There is massive GPP appeal in those games and I cannot wait to break those down.
I’ll update my NOTES later in SLACK based on news cycle and do my “cash game” list again with an asterisk next to my cash game core to build around.
Best of luck,
