BKN/Cha Total O/U 215.5 Hornets favored by 8. THJ is out yet again and this means Acy will see 30+ minutes and is near min price. Dinwiddie is intriguing in GPP coming off a successful all-star Saturday night in the skills contest. I LOVE pairing him with D Russell. Russell is set to see a minutes increase and coach Atkinson said he wants to play them more together. Crabbe was shooting lights out pre ASB and if he continues is worth a GPP spot.
Hornets have a few GREAT plays here. I LOVE Kemba here and neither Dinwiddie or Russell can guard him. Dwight is in a SMASH spot and is a great pivot of a chalkier Embiid in GPP. At near min price, I really like Kaminsky for GPP as well. I am going to keep Batum as GPP only, however, he is on the fringe line for hybrid.
NYK/Orl total O/U 215 magic favored by 3.5. I really love this game. For the Knicks, Mudiay will likely be the starting PG and he’s in a GREAT spot for cheap. He’s hybrid for me. You can go crazy and put him with Ntilikina at PGs and be very unique. Hardaway is one of my favorite SGs on the slate. He is in a great paced game and not much defense in it. Beasley is probable and makes for a good hybrid option with his tremendous upside. The sneaky play here is Courtney Lee. Kanter is a solid C and can be played in all formats.
Magic have Vuc and A-Aron back tonight. We have Gordon at 28 minutes and although he’s expensive I can play him in this game for GPP. I will be staying away from Vuc as he will be quite rusty and is just under $8k. With Mudiay starting for NY I love targeting his defense. This makes DJ Augustin a solid play for me. He will see 30+ minutes and will have Mudiay on him. Easy.
Was/CLE Total O/U 220.5 Cavs favored by 5.5. Love this game. Beal will be chalk and rightfully so. He’s been a beast since Wall went down and will have the ball a lot here. Otto is a solid play as well and can be paired with Markieff Morris. Oubre under 5k at 29 minutes is NICE.
Cavs, play Lebron. It’s simple. I like Hood and Nance for GPP. If you need a lower priced Center you can play Tristan Kardashian.
Phi/Chi Total O/U 213.5 Sixers favored by 7. For the Sixers, I really like Embiid as my top center on the slate. He will be unstoppable and that’s what we want. Between him and Simmons, they should both crush value. Reddick in GPP. Saric very much in play, but, not with Ben and Joel.
Bulls have two new starters. I think you can play Nwaba in cash comfortably at min price. I will not be coming close to Felicio. No, thanks. I LOVE both Dunn and Lavine and my favorite PF tonight is Markkanen. In GPP I will be pivoting to Valentine as he makes for a much less chalky play and can really score the ball. He should get PLENTY of shots in the second unit as the main scorer.
OKC/Sac Total O/U 214 Thunder favored by 7.5. For the Thunder, you can play any or all of the big 3. I really like Adams here if you need to pay down at Center in cash.
Sac is missing Fox tonight. This means more Bogdanovic and you can play Temple or Hield in GPP. I prefer Temple here. Skal is back and I will play him in all my cash LUs.
LAC/GSW Total O/U 235.5 Warriors favored by 11. The Clippers are without Avery Bradley. This means more Lou Will in crunch time and this game is made for Lou. Fantastic Hybrid play. Austin Rivers is a solid play and Jordan should get 20+ rebounds. Tobias Harris has been playing fantastic basketball since the trade and even though he’s going to likely see KD defense, he will have a lot more possessions in this fast pace. Ty Wallace is starting and at min price. He will see just over 20 minutes and I don’t like the ceiling though at min price you can play him.
KD should absolutely FEAST here. My top play of the slate. Steph is also in a great spot and can be played in all formats. Draymond will be needed to body DJ and he relishes the challenge. The Warriors downright HATE the Clippers and want to humiliate them every time they play. I’m not against loading up on this game at all.
