Merry Christmas, Army! Sports on the holidays draws a big spotlight. The spotlight also draws some extra money and boy are the bettors active today.
LAR @ TEN
The public is all over the Rams coming off the big win in Seattle last week. The sharp bettors are seeing opportunity in Tennessee. Not that the Rams don’t have anything to play for, but Tennessee is at home trying to hold on to the last playoff spot and has a defense that has been playing rather well as of late. The line opened with LAR 6.5 point favs but the sharps’s action has them down to being 5.5 point favs. There is even some big money coming in on TEN outright. The total is trending downward, too, going from 48 at the open down to 46.
DFS Takeaway: This action tells us to downgrade the Rams slightly and give that Titans team a boost. With Implied Team Totals (ITT) in the 20s for both teams, both offenses become viable.
ATL @ NO
The Saints have been known to put up some points at home and this week looks to be similar with one slight twist. Normally they figure to win those games. This week they could be without their top wideout in Michael Thomas. The line has only moved down a half point to NO -5, but it also has the highest total of the day (52.5).
DFS Takeaway: This is a solid game stack situation with the boost we got to the Atlanta offense.
DEN @ WAS
Sharps are on the new-look Denver Broncos. The line opened as WAS -4 but it’s been bet down to WAS -3. The total has dropped a point to 40
DFS Takeaway: This is not the best situation to get involved in outside of a one-off. The denver defense gets a slight uptick.
DET @ CIN
Yesterday, the sharps picked their side. They are siding with the stumbling Bengals at +3.5. The total went up a half point to 43.5.
DFS Takeaway: This is a move that I don’t get. Bengals haven’t been scoring and the Lions are still in the playoff race. Plant your flag as you will. I would be careful getting too involved in this one outside of a one-off.
MIA @ KC
KC is getting all the love, even at -10. The line has risen to KC -10.5. The total has dropped by 1.5 pts. MIami has been playing week in and week out straight through. It has to catch up to them at some point and the sharps think it is starting to take its toll.
DFS Takeaway: This is a solid boost to all of Kansas City, including the guy running the liquor store.

Things are coming up Carolina. The total is up a half point (CAR -10) and the total is up a half point (47). If you add in that TB has not been typically good on the road, then you have all you need here..
DFS Takeaway: Carolina gets a boost.
JAX @ SF
Jax has become a public team. As such, the bettors have been looking to SF for some value. The line has dropped and SF is now just a 4 pt dogs. The line has gone up a little to 43.
DFS Takeaway: This is a little boost to the SF offense and a little downtick to the JAX defense.
NYG @ ARI
The line opened at ARI -4.5 but now stands at ARI -3. It is a low total that dropped to 39.
DFS Takeaway: There are better spots.
