If you are not convinced on why you should join let me give you a 6 figure reason.  We have a great write up about breaking down the lineup that you can find here.  I will give you a little look into what happened however with JHawksFan25.

Week 5 we saw a lot of busts at the top of the food chain that made for a difficult time last. We’ll take a look at what they did, impact, and how to shift strategies going into week 6.

QB:

Our top three picks last week were Rodgers, Prescott, and Wilson. Our strategy held true again this week picking a QB last. If you wanted a part of the GB/DAL game, there was a 6.74 point spread between Rodgers (24.04) and Dak (30.74). If you let your opponents pick up Rodgers earlier to give you more value and RB and WR, you were rewarded with extra points from Dak. Wilson, however, was a disappointment at 12.52 points this week as the Seattle offense never really got going. In a game where the sharps favored the over, it ended up being one of the lower scoring games of the week.

RB:

Our top picks last week was Bell (14.3), Elliot (13.7), Gurley(4), Hunt(13), and Mccoy (11.9). Gordon (31.3) was in a difficult spot in comparison to our top picks was in a more difficult matchup and has been run of the mill this year so far with a Week 4 finish of 3.4 points and week 3 at 13.9.  Gordon wasn’t picked in a single H2H matchup or tournament out of the 52 I played in. The bust of the week for everyone across the board was Gurley at 4 points. DFS Twitter was on fire Sunday night with the abysmal performance. He was easily the #2 pick overall behind Bell. If you were fortunate enough to go Bell/Elliot per our VIP article last week, we picked up a large advantage in an 8-9 point swing.

WR:

Our top picks last week were Nelson (9.4), Green(26.4), Brown(20.7), Bryant(13.7), and Hopkins (25.4). Looking back at the VIP article last week. Here’s an excerpt from our VIP article last week in how to trap your opponents into game stacking:

  • you can trap them into stacking this way because most will go Rodgers/Nelson leaving you to go Green and <x> other receiver. Personally, I’ve gone Green and Hopkins. What about Dez? If you grab Dez, you’re stacking a RB and WR from the same offense which isn’t something I would ever recommend from a cash mentality standpoint in a snake draft.

If you followed that drafting strategy path (out of the 4 I wrote up) you most likely ended up taking your H2H down this week. A large majority of my teams looked like Dak/Gurley/Elliot/Green/Hopkins this week because of the importance of not overstacking a single game in our cash strategy. Yes the GB/DAL game went for 66 combined points, but the point scoring players were spread out making them all middling values. Both teams had so many weapons on offense, it’s hard to nail down who is going to get all of those points.

For week 6 there’s a lot of data to sift through before we make a decision on what kind of strategy we’ll be rolling out this week. Stay tuned for the VIP article available for DFSArmy.com members only coming out Saturday.
