Here is your weekly sharp line analysis for week 7. There is quite a bit this week so strap in.
TEN @ CLE
Let’s start with an easy one. We like TEN in this spot and the sharps do too. The thing to note about this matchup is that the total has dropped all week. It started at 46.5 and currently stands at 44.5.
DFS Takeaway: Tennessee offense is definitely the way to go. There was also a big uptick in money on OVER the Tennessee ITT.
CAR @ CHI
Maybe Carolina is starting to come back to normal, but the sharps love the grittiness of the Bears. That’s to win outright, by the way.
DFS Takeaway: Slight uptick to the Chicago offense in a low total game.
NO @ GB
The public had bet the saints up to 6 point favorites before the sharps jumped on board. This game total has been pretty static all week at 47.5, so there is some solid belief in the GB offense, when it comes to them remaining a relevant fantasy offense.
DFS Takeaway: This is a good sign that the sharps believe the Packers can still put up 3 touchdowns. There are decent fantasy options on both teams now.
MIN @ BAL
When this week began, this total stood at 40 and the Vikings were looked at in high esteem, especially given McKinnon’s performance last week. Currently, the total stands at 38.5 and smart money is backing the Ravens.
DFS Takeaway: If you must go here, this is a game for a one-off. The Ravens offense could even be in play with the right guy. The defenses could be in play but there are likely better spots elsewhere.
DAL @ SF
DAL is in a great spot to take advantage of the San Fran defense. The sharps agree. This shouldn’t be news. What is noteworthy is the total, though. The total has risen all week from a 46.5 open to 49.5.
DFS Takeaway: Fire up those cowboys!
CIN @ PIT
Smart money likes Cincy in this matchup. We hear all the time about the home/road splits for Big Ben. The spread has dropped from Steelers -6 to Steelers -4. The low total hasn’t budged all week.
DFS Takeaway: This is a slight uptick to the Cincy offense and a downtick to the Steelers defense. We do say to stay away from divisional matchups for DFS purposes, though. If you must go here, you can look to the Cincy side for lower ownership.
SEA @ NYG
You would think that this should be a good spot for Seattle. If you did, the sharps would like to speak with you. They jumped on the Giants midweek with big money and have continued to bet them. Not a lot of offense is expected, as the total has dropped from 40 to 38.5.
DFS Takeaway: This is a downtick for the Seattle Offense. This looks like another one-off situation is brewing.
ATL @ NE
This is a good situation for DFS purposes. We have a tight-ish game and a high total. I say tight-ish because, while the line is not crazy tight, the sharps have been betting the Falcons at +4 and +3.5 this week. The already high total even rose another point as the week progressed. This is a chalky spot on the FD main slate.
DFS Takeaway: You will see a lot of people game stacking this one. If you are a MME player then you can have plenty of shares of this game but don’t forget to leverage this game, too. Everyone on the offensive sides of the ball are in play. Get creative.
WAS @ PHI
This game opened as the 2nd highest total of the week and it has gone up even more. It sits at 49, now. The sharps seem somewhat interested in the Washington side of things. There are no overt indicators of the move but there was an odds shift that only sharp bettors can facilitate.
DFS Takeaway: If you are playing the primetime slate or the SUN-MON slate, this game has sneaky potential and could be a place to go to get off the Super Bowl rematch. At the very least, this one could be close with scoring reaching into the mid 20s.
That’s all I got for this week. Stay tuned to Staff for any late breaking news, notes, and line movements.
Good luck in week 7, Army!
