The VIP Look
Hey, all you VIPs who are in the know. I wanted to give you a more in-depth look to try and help you to find that right defense. Here we might take a look at some of the same teams in the free article or we will look at a team that isn’t a standout, but might pull off another TB week 2.
Philly vs NY Giants
This is actually still a very obvious play that I believe a lot of DFSers will be on. You have a solid Philly team who has only one top 5 finish but has put eight sacks in their two games. KC is not a team known to give big scores to their opponent but Philly still managed 4 points. NYG has been playing some of the worst football I have ever had the pleasure of watching.
Philly is currently playing way under their numbers from last season. The three highest ranked PFF players are on the Defensive line where they have solid players in Jernigan, Cox, and anchored by Graham. Most everyone else is well under their grade from last season and their career numbers. FS and SS McLeod and Graham are both players well below their 2016 season rankings, as are both LBs.
The real success of this pick will come from how NYGs themselves play. NY has been a mess and their O-line giving 8 sacks with 5 of them going to Detroit is a major reason for that. When they do manage to throw it well the WR has been dropping the ball. There is almost no run game with pro football focus giving Perkins a poor grade, right next to a slightly better Shane Vereen. As long as these things keep happening Eli should be throwing plenty of balls that can be picked off.
This is still a little rough. This is a new idea in my brain and I am still working on figuring out how I want to put it together. I will keep working on getting the data pulled together in a better way and make it easier to read.
