DFS Army’s Kickers Corner
Welcome to week nine of the NFL season ladies and gentlemen. I hope that you have found that groove that is so important when it comes to DFS. I have found this season to be a fun roller coaster of a ride, but a lot of that comes from me being in Texas and putting more volume into learning Draftkings better. Still I love my kickers and it is for that reason that I drive to New Mexico (since I live about 30 minutes away). One of the things I have learned from playing on Draftkings however is how much I enjoy the level playing field of the kicker.
Hopefully my list has been able to help you pick the right kicker, but even more so hopefully it has helped you to identify those kickers who are ready to go off. I am always happy to talk kickers though, so hit me up in our Slack Chat and lets talk about who is in the best spot to go off. If you are not a member of the VIP DFS Army, now is the time. Join using the promo code PVAARON and you will save 20% off for the life of your membership. Then find me in Slack and lets talk about kickers!
Why Slack Chat?
Plus if you were not all over Carr/Cooper/Crabtree stack, that just shows you why being inside the Slack Chat is so big. We got word from ffootballgeek that with the Vegas line movement that he has increased exposure to the 3 man stack. That helped many of us DFS Army members win some big money. There are other great calls this season you’re missing when not in Slack. We had Bennet’s 3 td game called out by Keith in Slack. The big Adams call for Thursday Night Football, that helped a member win a shot at going to the Bahamas.

Recap
So enough with the push salesman act, and into the work of picking kickers. I only push this so hard because I love what the Army offers. This was a pretty average week for kickers overall. There were some good scorers, one of them being Gano who will be coming off the fade list for this week. It was also the week of Vintinari going busto, but we all knew it was only a matter of time before he put up a bad day. He was also the only kicker on the list who really hurt if you had him so pretty good week. Hopefully we get more of those 12+ point kickers this week.
Hopefully you did listen and faded Janikowski again. The man is just so up and down, I do not know why anyone uses him outside of massive max entry type contests.
Player to Long Term Fade
Janikoski still on my list of fade. Yes the man can go off at any moment, and if you want to put him into a GPP LU I get it. That just does not do you any good the 5 weeks where he gets less than 8. I will be putting him more into a player to watch type role. He is a kicker, who should almost always be in play based on match up. The problem is his usage is still up and down.
Short Term Fade
Boswell is not on the fade list or player list. There are to many questions in Pitt right now. I will say this however, if Ben sits Boswell is in play, if Ben plays he becomes a question mark. Mostly because we will not know what Big Ben is actually able to do coming off of injury.
Gano is still getting a match up boost this week. It is not like the LA Rams have been shut down this year, so feel free to check the list on Gano. He is in play, but not my favorite play.
Quick How to Pick a Kicker
- Pick kickers on teams who are favored to win or be in close high scoring games.
- Focus on kickers who have the ability to kick with high accuracy from long ranges.
- Find kickers who are in domes or where weather is not an issue.
- Worry about price last, focus on ability to score points first.
