DFS Army’s Kickers Corner

 

There have been 10 weeks checked off the list already, and that means the NFL season will be over before we know it.  I personally have had a few crazy weeks, but there has been some super big news.  My wife has gotten a job in Indianapolis, which means you are now talking to a brand new Colts fan.  This could leave me with a few crazy weeks trying to get write ups done, while trying to move across the country.  I will keep you posted each week, as to next weeks status.  This week we do not have anything to worry about, as the fun will not start for a few more weeks.

Recap

With week 10 something important happened for me, but sadly I did not shout it out to anyone else.  As I was looking for something I missed late in the week, I found a new love for Hopkins.  I ended up playing him in a few lus, as a pivot to Lambo.  That was a play that worked out well for me, but I do feel bad that I did not put it out anywhere.  It was a late night Saturday night/Sunday morning call.  The point is that my list is built early in the week, and some times things will change.  Be ready to be flexible, and I will also make sure to start calling out late movements I make on Twitter going forward.

Otherwise it was a pretty normal week for me, with as many good hits, and middle of the road hits.  I am really happy with the current pace Santos has been on.  He will be someone we need to keep an eye on.  I am actually going to be doing away with my fade list, but more on that next.

Player Fade

So I currently do not have anyone who needs to be faded.  There are some guys I will not look at much, but we are actually at a point where there is no one who is an automatic fade.  I will be willing to add someone to this list, if something changes.

 

Quick How to Pick a Kicker

• Pick kickers on teams who are favored to win or be in close high scoring games.
• Focus on kickers who have the ability to kick with high accuracy from long ranges.
• Find kickers who are in domes or where weather is not an issue.
• Worry about price last, focus on ability to score points first.
