Kickers Corner
Hello everyone out there who thinks that kickers are people too. I am going to do a little bit of a shorter write up than normal. This is because Thanksgiving kind of puts a small bump in my normal week. I am not going to do a review like normal, but I will be giving a quick look at a few of the kickers I like this week. I will point out the funny fact that so many extra points were missed last week, even though the percentage of kicks made from the same distance for FGs is somewhere in the 90% range. At least it can make what used to be boring pretty exciting and game changing.
The Kickers
Matt Bryant – 5100 – Atlanta should move the ball well against Arizona even with their top notch defense. There is also the possibility to use Atlanta’s def in a correlation stack. I really like Bryant for any format, and think he has great upside if the Def performs as I believe they will.
Steven Hauschka – 4700 – Seattle is getting a pretty good match up here, with Rawls, Baldwin, and Russell all being in play. The one thing we have learned this week is that the big star on Seattle’s front line (the center) will be out this week. This shouldn’t effect things much in the open field, but when in the red zone we could see it stall out a few drives.
Josh Lambo – 4600 – I like the high power offense in SD facing a pretty good Def in Houston. This should leave kicks for Lambo, and points to hold. I do not love this match up, but I like it enough to target Lambo. There is also the bright side of Houston having so much issue moving the ball. This should mean more chances for SD to make some points.
Final Note
There are many kickers this week, who are in solid match ups, but these are by far the ones I would focus the most on. I will not be playing Fanduel until after the move because there is not enough time to drive to New Mexico to build lineups. Still if I had any lineups being put in, they would focus on these 3 kickers.
