Boomer's Baller's: NBA DFS 11/17/2016

Good Afternoon!  We have a nice little five game slate tonight after last nights hurricane of news that happened.  We shouldn’t have near that today so we need not to worry.  I’m going to try to incorporate a couple things into the article from now one to try to help people out with some of the basic questions that we get in the VIP Slack Community.

First will be the Back-2-Back tool.

Red: 3-in-4 and B2B

Yellow: B2B

Orange: 3-in-4

The second will be the Pace Tool that is also located on our official DFS Army NBA Projections.

Use this information to start your research along with the Vegas lines.  If you haven’t noticed, the last tab on my cheatsheets is the same Vegas Line movement page that I put out every morning for NFL.  I update it throughout the day although it’s not as telling as it NFL, when there has been significant line movement through the day we can use these things to our advantage!

I have to stress this because we have been asked what the key is to being good at NBA DFS.  There is no for sure one thing that is more important than the other.  Incorporate everything you can as a piece of the puzzle to make the decisions.  If you are wondering why Al or myself like a guy that you aren’t seeing, then please ask us.  We are more than happy to help.  We don’t hit everyone, Wilson Chandler, but we watch a ton of basketball and have a great feel for how things are going to happen a lot of the times.  We pass on the information that we have to the DFS Army because I love seeing big winners in the NBA Channel.  Also remember, that Al and I don’t always agree, and there are times where he will be right and I will be wrong and the other way around as well.  Use the information and make the decision.

Also, if I could give you one strong piece of advice for NBA it’s that you don’t want to create a “no play” list.  Just because a guy doesn’t perform for you one night doesn’t mean he should automatically be off the table.  You will then start to make bad choices based off of your biases and that can cost you money.  Instead, go back, try to figure out why the play didn’t work on that particular night.  Did he get into foul trouble or was his shot just not falling?  Digging deeper can help us learn and not make the same mistake.  Let the rest of the DFS community chase points or make dumb decisions based on a guy “screwing” them.  My favorite thing for tournaments is to go right back to a guy that was chalk the last time he played and laid a dud.  You will get his ownership at a much lower percentage and as long as the matchup is still in his favor, be able to capitalize off of the DFS communities poor decisions.  I will get into more of the situations as they come up.

Good Luck Army! Let’s get that $$$$
