Finally, a day where we can only get some uncrowded Jerami Grant exposure!  Oh, wait…..OOPS!

So much for that one.  Grant was traded this afternoon to the OKC Thunder for Ersan Illyasova.  That has absolutely nothing to do with DFS today, but it is something that we need to watch out for going forward.

Today, because Cleveland is also hosting a World Series game tonight, the Cavs have so graciasly decided to move their game ahead an hour earlier and FanDuel has decided to include that in their main slate of games.  Be careful in this one, James Harden is banged up a little bit with an ankle injury but should play.  I’m headed straight to Ryan Anderson who has yet to really break out and Eric Gordon who could see more usage with Harden gimpy.

Ricky Rubio is out tonight and for the forseeable future and that means that Kris Dunn will more than likely get the start at PG for the Timberwolves.  This is extremely important because even though he’s cheap across the industry and is a great value at that spot, both Al Walsh and I agree that it is actually Zach LaVine who should see the increased workload here.

One of the things that you should always do in DFS is buy low on a player.  Or players.  We will continue to buy the talent of the Golden State Warriors as their price decreases around the industry.  The great thing is that it’s not a question of whether or not they CAN do it.  Just a matter of WHEN.  The more their prices drop around the industry, the more I will play them.  BEWARE!  This total has dropped 2.5 points from the time it opened, so there could be some news coming that one of the main components for the Warriors could end up resting tonight.  I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but the total is saying something to us.  With that said, it’s still the highest total of the night by a long shot.  So make sure that you have the “late night sledgehammer” ready to deploy in your lineups!

Starting tomorrow, I will be getting back to highlighting my favorite plays and will give you a breakdown of what they are and how I use what the “Vets” around the DFS Army like to call, “Highlighter Magic!”
