UFC 321 and our DFS MMA cash picks and strategy for Aspinall vs Gane on October 25th starts here! This time we have a 13-fight card taking place on Yas Island, United Arab Emirates. There are several very close matches on this card which will make for some interesting choices in your tournament builds. But, that’s not what this article is about. My goal is to help navigate you through this interesting card and find some solid fighters to begin your cash game construction with.

It may not be the sexiest way to build your bankroll but, over time it can be the most consistent. MMA UFC 321 Cash Game Basics for DFS
In cash games, unlike tournaments, we are trying to build a solid floor with our lineups. Many times that may mean using a fighter with great odds to win or taking someone who is severely mispriced. Cash games are often times card dependent. For example, if a fighter is expected to be chalky in cash games and I feel they are in a good spot I have no problem eating the chalk and just rostering him. After all, he’s chalky for a reason. One major difference between cash and tournament play is getting past your aversion to play the chalk. Often times, the chalk makes a lot of sense. DFS MMA UFC 321 Cash Core Plays
Tom Aspinall (-370) 9.4k
Tom is the 5th biggest favorite on the card and priced as the 3rd most expensive. I think he is the safest play in this 9k range. He has scored 94.7+ DraftKings points in all 8 of his UFC wins. All were fights he won via early finish. Vegas agrees on the early finish as Aspinall carries a -350 Wins ITD prop (best on the entire card). I have no issues locking him into all my cash game builds and strongly suggest you do the same!!
Valter Walker (-380) 9.1k
Valter is another solid play in cash games priced in the 9k range. He has gotten a 1st round finish in all 3 of his UFC wins. I look for him to continue that trend here. I have Walker in my own personal builds and think you should consider doing the same.
Mario Bautista (+500) 6.6k
In order to fit the higher-priced fighters on this card you are going to have to punt with an underdog or 2 on this card. Bautista is my favorite cash punt on the entire UFC 321 card because he allows us the luxury to get 4 or more favorites into our cash game builds. Vegas fully expects this fight to go to the scorecards with a fight that goes to decision prop of -230. Even in a loss Mario should have no issues scoring 25-30 DraftKings points. That’s all we need from him as the cheapest fighter on the entire card. This is the route I am taking on this card and I think you should entertain the thought as well.
Sure, these are MY favorite cash game plays, but maybe you play GPPs or like others. That’s fine…..you ***//need tools, though. MMA UFC 321 Fight To Target In Hybrids/Tournaments
Now that we covered some cash plays. Let’s breakdown 1 fight I really think you should get exposure to in your hybrid and tournament lineups.
Jailton Almeida (-200) 8.8k vs Alexander Volkov (+170) 7.4k
This fight carries a -230 Fight Ends ITD prop. Both fighters have paths to putting up strong DFS scores and the winner of this fight has a strong chance to be in the optimal lineup. I will personally have a good amount of exposure to this fight in tournaments (north of 70%). This fight will score well for DraftKings. My preferred play is Volkov because he is the cheaper fighter and more dangerous striker. Having said that be sure to get some exposure to Almeida because if he is able to get this fight to the ground he should be able to control the fight from there. If you plan on playing multiple lineups in UFC 321 tournaments this is a great fight to target both sides of in my opinion.
