NHL Building Blocks – April 25
Two games tonight, and there’s a chance that a team from each game could go up 3-0. Let’s dive in!
The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines. These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.
Starting Lineup – April 25
The Goalie: Fredrik Andersen ($8000 DK / $8000 FD)
Looking sharp just as he did in the regular season, allowing just four goals in the first two games of the series (both wins by Carolina).
The Center: Sebastian Aho ($7200 DK/ $8500 FD)
Goal and assist in G2; plays all three situations and will be needed on the road (up 2-0, though).
The Wing: Matthew Tkachuk ($7500 DK/ $9100 FD)
Goal and two assists (eight SOG) in the first two games of the series and is playing very physical.
The Defenseman: Victor Hedman ($5400 DK / $6700 FD)
Seeing well over 25 minutes a night; two assists in the first two games and will be needed to avoid going down 0-3.
The Value: Jordan Staal ($2700 DK / $4000 FD)
12 hits in the first two games; also an assist on four shots.
The Stack: CAR1 (Aho-Guentzel-Svechnikov)
Looked good in G2 (responsible for all three Carolina goals), and should have the same opportunities tonight. Isles will need to shut down this line to have a chance. Svech comes up on this line, but still mix in Jarvis for power play exposure.
The Builder: CAR/TB ML parlay
