Yadong Song $7800 vs. Ricky Simon $8400
The line to Impact Lean: +120 fight to end in a decision, +130 Fight to end TKO/KO/DQ
This is a main event that I will not want to shy away from on DK. Both fighters can score well with volume throughout five rounds. The lean is going towards Simon from me because he has been on a roll since losing to Uriah Faber and Rob Font Decision (2019). The two losses have awoken him as he has torn through the competition, including recent finishes over Jack Shore (Submission) and Assuncao (TKO). He has the wrestling upside and has scored as high as 131 fantasy points in his last four wins. The over 3.5 is -105, and the fight is +120 to go to decision and +130 to end TKO/KO/DQ, which tells us that Simon can land a finish or volume his way to a decision.
On the Song side, he is 3-1 in his last 4 and has a grappling loss by submission to Jacob Rodriguez. Song recently finished Julio Arce via TKO. However, his volume can lack at times, but at this price, he for sure will be optimal with a win. He is +200 to win by TKO/KO/DQ and is +115 on the money line. He is a play I will ensure I am heavy on for DK.
This fight is an All-In for me, and I am leaning my ownership toward Simon.

Cody Brundage $7100 vs. Rodolfo Vieira $9100
The line to Impact Lean: Under 1.5 -115
As a fan, I am excited for this fight. Vieira is coming from a recent loss to Action Man Curtis but won by R3 submission over Stoltsfus earlier in 2022. His other recent loss came from submission against Fluffy Hernandez (Grappling). On DK, he scored 84, 106, and 105 in his last three wins, bringing submission upside. On the note of Submission, he has been working his grappling; my theory is that he has improved his defense and ground game which will neutralize the wrestling of Brundage.
For Brundage, he has scored 114 and 97 in his last two wins and is a finishing machine. He has a striking upside, but Vieira is a step up. Nevertheless, Brundage could land a killer shot and get the W, but I predict Rodolfo will win.
That said, the fight is going to be elevated ownership with a lean-to Vieira.

Julian Erosa $8800 vs. Fernando Padilla $7400
The line to Impact Lean: Under 2.5 -130
Juicy J is on the card! We are always in for a show when Julian Erosa is on the card and is fighting what appears to be a well-rounded finisher in Padilla. Padilla is 4-1 over his last five, but this is his UFC debut, and he is fighting as a dog against a well-experienced Julian Erosa. However, at a more profound look, we have an Erosa who has quite the chin issues over his career and is fighting an up-and-comer yet to be tested. When it comes to dogs, I like to go with those dogs that have been crushing but are unknown and get dog pricing. This is a spot where I will do the same. Padilla is my Kill Shot for the week, and I will be heavily invested in him.
Julian Erosa has score 96, 112, and 101 over his last three wins on DK and is 3-2 over his last five. One final thing to note is that he does have an impressive win over Nate “the train” Landwehr. I do see why he is a favorite, but he is so inconsistent I can’t see myself getting to him over field ownership.

The price is right
Marcus McGhee $7200 vs. Journey Newson $7300
The price is so nice that we named it twice. Sorry, I have been waiting forever to be able to say that, and this fight fits the bill. You are telling me I have a contest where both guys are priced in the lower 7k range. Both fighters are finishers and will score well for their price with one. We have seen more of Newson, and I am not particularly impressed. Rather than saying let’s get a ton of both, I will go under the field on Newson and play McGhee 50% or higher.
McGhee is unknown, but his stats and previous film suggest he could land a finish.
