Chimaev $9600 Vs. Diaz $6600

The line to Impact Lean: Chimaev -1150

Let’s not overthink this: Chimaev will smash Diaz, and there is a slim chance it makes it to round 5. I think betting the over 1.5 could pay off because Diaz is tough. Regarding Draftkings, I am waiting for ownership projections because even though Chimaev will smash, it is about scoring and upside. There are worlds where we get other fighters much cheaper than Chimaev, who outscore or score just as well as him.

However, I plan to be heavy on Chimaev (Over the field) as him smashing and getting a good score passes the common sense test.

Walker $7600 Vs. Cutelaba  $8600

The line to Impact Lean: Under 1.5 -145

Going all in on this fight! Someone is getting finished! Walker is +250 KO/TKO/DQ, and Cutelaba is -110 KO/TKO/DQ, with the fight being -300 to end by KO/TKO/DQ. The high chance of a finish combined with the over-under set at 1.5 makes this a battle to target. Also, if the fight goes over, I think that favors Cutelaba and could mean he generates TD and Ctrl time, leading to a quality DK score.

Walker will be a strong play as his most likely path to victory will be an explosive, early finish. At $7600, he is guaranteed to be optimal with that outcome, and he has shown the ability to do it with 12 confirmed finishes in his career.

All that said, I am all in on this fight with a solid lean to Cutelaba.

Weeks $8200 Vs. Lainesse $8000

The line to Impact Lean: under 2.5 -145

There is always a fight at this price that I love. The fight is almost even money, and both guys have a chance of getting a finish with the under 2.5 at -145. I like the dog more as Lainesse could get a finish but also generate some volume though TD, Striking, and Ctrl time which at $8000 will lead to a score landing in the optimal.

Weeks has five finishes and 5-2, so there is that. He is 0-2 in the UFC, which is why I think the value is on the plus-money side. However, weeks are not scared to go for a finish, and looks better than his record on film.

I will be heavy on the fight but more invested in the dog as it relates to DraftKings.

UFC 279 Betting: Lainesse +110 M/L 

Leverage Play 

Irene Aldana $8800

I think Irene Aldana, at $8800, has the potential to be low-owned and smash in her matchup. She is -200 Money-Line and +300 KO/TKO/DQ with a scoring range of 100-120 ftpts. I could see her getting overlooked and being an easy leverage play, but we must. Wait for the ownership projections to confirm.

FIGHT to FADE

Dumont $9200 Vs. Wolf $7000

This fight is not attractive to me as it lacks action potential, and I don’t see many worlds where this fight scores well for DraftKings.
