WNBA FULL COURT PRESS

The WNBA is well underway now and the wins have started coming in! Congrats to Seoexpert for this excellent takedown of the DK WNBA main GPP!

Indiana Fever @ Dallas Wings

The Indiana Fever come in after a couple of days of rest after a close game with the Aces. On this slate, there is not too much to love from this Fever team. Candice Dupree is my top gpp option from this team and that is how you know it is not going to go well for playing much from this team. She should have a decent game for her price, but I will be surprised if she hits 40 fantasy points. Erica Wheeler and Kelsey Mitchell are the other options on this team that I would play. They both offer 35-40 point upside and at low ownership if those scenarios played out it would be slate breaking.

The Dallas Wings are an ugly team this season. However, with that said we do have a couple of good fantasy plays on this side of the court. Kayla Thornton and Theresa Plaisance have been a point per minute monsters recently. With Azura Stevens out for an indefinite time, it only solidifies their playing time. They both offer great floor and ceiling combinations and their price is right. Solid plays on both FD and DK. Isabelle Harrison is cheap on both sites and offers a lot of upside if she gets her minutes and stays out of foul trouble. Love this spot in gpps and could be a difference maker in tournaments.

5-Star Play: None

4-Star Play: Kayla Thornton, Theresa Plaisance

Deep Value: Isabelle Harrison

GPP Sleeper: Candice Dupree

New York Liberty @ Phoenix Mercury

The Liberty are coming off of a strong win against the Seattle Storm a couple of days ago. This team relies heavily on Tina Charles because of how much of a focal point she is to this team. Brittany Boyd has been very consistent for the past couple of weeks. She is more of a cash game staple because of this. She does have the ability to blow up for more, but she is an all levels play as she should not hurt your lineup. Kia Nurse is a strong gpp play and we saw that in their last game. Reshanda Gray has a tough matchup in this game and fouls could play into factor once again. She is still priced too low and if she stays clean and plays well she will smash her value.

The Phoenix Mercury really only have 3 viable options for DFS on their team as of right now. DeWanna Bonner has an amazing ceiling and she has one of the highest ceilings in the league. She has had a couple of days to rest her minor injury and should be back to full strength for this game. Brittney Griner has not been playing on as high of a level as she has been the past several years. With that said she makes for a great gpp play as she should be the lowest owned player in her price range. Leilani Mitchell is a near lock on DK as they mispriced her thinking that Taurasi would be back in tonight’s game. On FD she is still a great play and is one of my favorite guards to roster.

5-Star Play: DeWanna Bonner, Brittney Griner, Leilani Mitchell (DK), Tina Charles

4-Star Play: Leilani Mitchell (FD), Brittany Boyd

Deep Value: Reshanda Gray

GPP Sleeper: Kia Nurse

DFS Army VIP’s crushed it on the Showdown Slates for the US Open using our Coaches Notes, Domination Station and Research Station!

Our Golf team is top notch, I cannot remember a week where someone has not won 5k or more in the past few months. Our coaches have helped many members have successful weekends like this. Congrats to Jamie2703 for the big win in golf.

Atlanta Dream @ Seattle Storm

I thought the Fever were bad early, well, the Dream are even worse. Jessica Breland is the only solid play on this team. I love her price and her upside in this game. She has great steal and block potential along with double-double upside. One value on the Dream is Brittany Sykes, only if she comes off the bench though. She offers a nice ceiling in this game if she can get the 2nd unit usage. I am not a fan of anyone else on this team and do not see any of the other players performing well at all.

The exact opposite can be said about the Seattle Storm. Natasha Howard is in a smash spot and should absolutely destroy it in this game. She is priced too low on both sites and is my favorite play on the slate. Jordin Canada offers a high floor and high ceiling that is hard to pass up. Her steal upside is great too, which helps especially on FD. Mercedes Russell should play well in this game as her size advantage will be huge once again in this game. Just like against the Liberty, her size should help her dominate in the paint. Alysha Clark is a great play as well and offers a high floor for a great price. The Storm starters are all great for all contest types on both sites.

5-Star Play: Natasha Howard

4-Star Play:  Jordin Canada, Alysha Clark, Mercedes Russell

Deep Value: Brittany Sykes

GPP Sleeper: Jessica Breland

Washington Mystics @ Las Vegas Aces

I am really hoping this game stays close this time around. There is a lot of fantasy goodness to be had by both teams in this game. Starting out with the red hot Mystics, who are looking like the best team in the league. Elena Delle Donne is one of my favorite plays on the slate. She has been on a tear recently and should not have any problem in keeping it going this week. Ariel Atkins has a good matchup and is a bit too expensive on FD and DK, but is more than worth the shot in gpps. She has 30 point upside and more if this game stays close. Kristi Toliver has a safe floor and an explosive ceiling. She is my gpp sleeper on the Mystics as she can break a slate on any given day.

The Las Vegas Aces have not been having the season that most of us suspected that they would have. Everything for me, revolves around A’Ja Wilson and Liz Cambage. Both of these players have 45 point upside. Look for the Aces to come out strong and to rely heavily on their powerhouse hitters. Kayla McBride is another great option on this slate. She offers up a safe floor, with a high ceiling for her price on both FD and DK. Kelsey Plum is a boom or bust player, as she has been mostly a bust this season. She has boomed as well, and at her price, she will be in the winning lineup if she puts up 30 plus fantasy points. She is always in play in gpps.

5-Star Play: Elena Delle Donne, A’Ja Wilson, Liz Cambage

4-Star Play: Kayla McBride, Ariel Atkins

Deep Value: Aerial Powers (Blowout)

GPP Sleeper:  Kristi Toliver, Kelsey Plum
