IOWA ST vs WEST VIRGINIA

This is a game we need to pay attention to news about.  Shayok has been ruled out with Weiler-Babb being questionable.  This is a huge spot for us to attack DFS wise so we need as much information as possible.  With the news, I am all aboard Wigginton and Horton-Tucker. Lard should be back from his one-game suspension but I worry about Conditt being the first big off the bench.  If Weiler-Babb ends up missing, I have to think that Lewis becomes a very solid punt option for GPPs.  Haliburton may see some more usage which might make him more of an option on DK.  On FD he is definitely in play.  Digging even deeper, Talley Jr might be a dart GPP play if Weiler-Babb joins Shayok on the sidelines.

WVU has become easier to predict since the dismissal of two players and the likely season-ending injury to Bolden.  Pricing has not caught up with the recent production, especially on DK.  I am very high on McCabe, Haley, West, and Culver tonight with the thought of using guys like Matthews Jr and Harler as GPP plays.  Haley and Culver are my preferred but I am totally fine with adding McCabe to them in a stack.

Preferred Plays:  Wigginton, Horton-Tucker, McCabe, Haley, Culver

PENN ST vs RUTGERS – DK Only

For Penn St, my interest is basically only in Lamar Stevens.  He has been EXTREMELY safe for a while now and I think is an excellent pay up option for cash games tonight.  His price has risen to where I am not sure there is the upside for GPPs.  He did put up 39 fantasy points the first time these two faced off and I feel confident in a 35-40 spot tonight. I would consider Reaves as a GPP dart option as he has been pretty solid of late but I do not feel the need to look his way.

Rutgers is a team we have been able to sneak value from for most of the season.  I do not see a ton of value in them tonight as Mathis has been priced up a bit. I really like Baker as a cash game play in this home match-up.  I think you can consider Harper Jr and McConnell as GPP dart plays but that would be about it for me.

Preferred Plays:  Stevens, Baker

LSU vs FLORIDA

I am not a fan of this spot for LSU.  I do not think that Waters is 100% and now Mays has seen his price climb to where I just can’t trust him. I do think that Naz Reid or Bigby-Williams have really good games tonight and I lean Reid even tho Bigby-Williams is much cheaper.  Smart should garner some GPP ownership due to his upside.

I am off of a lot of the Gators here.  While they get a pace boost, most have seen a price increase.  I think Allen and Nembhard are usable but guys like Locke, K.Johnson, and Hayes are just not in consideration.  The only guy I want pieces of is Jalen Hudson.  I expect him to come out motivated on senior night.

Preferred Plays:  Reid, Hudson

PROVIDENCE vs CREIGHTON

I have been shying away from most of Providence this season and tonight will most likely be the same.  I think that Diallo is fine for cash but lacks GPP upside at his price.  Watson has been my favorite play but tonight I worry about foul issues.  I am willing to go back to the Ashton-Langford train as a GPP punt play.  Jackson and Reeves are guys that I won’t set out targeting but am not against them as GPP fill-ins.

I think Creighton offers some interesting plays but none that stand out as ones that I have to have.  Krampelj is probably my favorite play as I like taking interior players against Providence.  Mintz is probably my second favorite as he seems like a solid cash option.  Alexander, Ballock, and Zegarowski have all shown very nice GPP upside with pretty ugly floors.

Preferred Plays:  Krampelj

ARKANSAS vs VANDERBILT

I normally would have a ton of interest in Arkansas as I think Vandy is a team we want to target but Arkansas guards are impossible to figure out at this point and Gafford plays a ton better at home.  With that said, I do want some GPP exposure to Gafford as Vandy has nobody who can deal with him down low.  I do not mind a GPP share of Joe or Jones in case they get hot.  Sills is a fine punt option if it makes the rest of your lineup work.

Vandy is a crap show at this point.  Nesmith has been pretty bad recently but that makes him an excellent GPP play tonight.  He has shown us an upside near 50.  Lee is the only other player I really am considering for them as he has been really solid for most of the season.

Preferred Plays:  Gafford, Sills, Nesmith

GEORGETOWN vs DEPAUL

This is the game a large amount of the field will be targeting.  This should cross the 150 point mark and approach 160-165.  For the Hoyas, I really like Govan, LeBlanc, and Akinjo for GPPs.  I think Mosely is a solid cash option at his price, as long as he stays in the starting lineup.  I probably will fade McClung as he has been pretty bad on the road this season.  Malinowski is a GPP dart that could pay huge dividends.  Govan has been one of my favorite plays all season long due to his ability.

For DePaul, I am all aboard the Max Strus senior night narrative.  He is a much better player at home and the guards seem to do more during home games than away games.  Olujobi is a senior as well so he interests me.  In fact, he along with Reed and Butz interest me against a scoreable interior.  Cain makes sense from a senior night narrative standpoint but I prefer the other guys over him.

Preferred Plays:  Govan, Mosely, Strus, Olujobi, Butz

OKLAHOMA ST vs BAYLOR

I think this is an under-the-radar spot to attack for DFS purposes.  With OK State being so short handed we have to be willing to target them even if the team is just not very good right now.  McGriff is one of my favorite GPP plays tonight with Waters, Dziagwa, and C.Jones being behind him.  Likekele is somebody I have no interest in and I think Anei is safe for cash purposes, I feel like he lacks GPP upside.  I want shooting against zones and Waters, Dziagwa, and C.Jones have shown the ability to get hot from the perimeter.

There’s a lot to be interested in on Baylor tonight for GPP purposes.  Mason and McClure are going to be in play because of senior night and while McClure has recently just returned, he looked good last time out and put up a monster game against OK State earlier this season.  Mason is a GPP play as he has been pretty cold lately but isn’t afraid to fire away.  Kegler, Butler, Vital, Bandoo, and Gillespie are all in play for GPP purposes.  I would rank them Kegler, Vital, Butler, Gillespie, and then Bandoo.

Preferred Plays:  McGriff, Waters, Mason

OHIO ST vs NORTHWESTERN

For Ohio St, K.Wesson is out yet due to his suspension. This does a few things for us, opens up a ton of usage and gives us some value to look at.  The main beneficiary is my man Jaedon Ledee.  He brought is 8.25x against Purdue and only saw his price increase by $100 on DK.  I do have some foul worries against Pardon or Benson but I can’t pass up the upside.  I would consider Ahrens for GPPs after he hurt a LOT of people with a dud against Purdue and A.Wesson for basically the same reason.

For Northwestern, it is Law and Pardon for me.  They are the only guys I am considering and I think that both are phenomenal plays even in a game with a low total.  I think I lean Law for GPPs and Pardon for cash games tonight.

Preferred Plays:  LeDee, Law, Pardon

GEORGIA TECH vs NC STATE

I really like GT in this spot as they get a pace boost on the road.  Alvarado, Banks III, and Wright are guys that I want to get exposure to with somebody like Alston as a GPP play with the injury to Haywood.  The match-up is really attractive but I still struggle relying on GT players in cash.

NC State is usually a team we target but the price points are where they probably should have been weeks ago.  Dorn and Bryce just don’t excite me tonight with Johnson and Funderburk being guys I have GPP interest in.  I think you can use Daniels or Beverly as a GPP dart play but I am not confident in them.  Wyatt Walker on senior night could be a thing but its very volatile.

Preferred Plays:  Alvarado, Wright

CLEMSON vs NOTRE DAME

Clemson cannot afford a loss tonight, even with being on the road.  With their postseason hopes on the line, I expect Reed and E.Thomas to be on top of their game’s tonight.  If Skara is out again tonight then Trapp becomes an excellent play in all formats at his price point.  The rest of Clemson doesn’t excite me.

Mooney is one of my favorite plays in CBB and I think, while Clemson interior D has been strong, this is a spot for him to do some work again.  Aside from Mooney, Hubb is probably the only other option for me on ND.  Gibbs has been killing me lately and the rest of the rotation seems to lack consistent upside.  Harvey would be the one I would use as a GPP flyer.

Preferred Plays:  Reed, Thomas, Trapp (If he starts), Mooney

OREGON ST vs WASHINGTON

This is a tough spot for OSU on the road, against a very tough D.  I would only consider using Tinkle or S.Thompson in this match-up.  I will probably fade both but I can understand using them because of their usage rates and the fact that both had really strong games in the first match-up.

For Washington, I have interest in Nowell, Thybulle, and Crisp.  The only one that I feel like I need to get exposure to for GPPs is Thybulle thanks to his ridiculous upside.  The rest of UW is extremely tough to figure out.  Dickerson has upside but will be dealing with a tough defensive match-up.

Preferred Plays:  Thybulle

OREGON vs WASHINGTON ST – DK Only

Oregon is a team I want to target tonight.  We know that WSU is not very good so there should be some value in Oregon players.  Pritchard seems like a very solid cash game option at his price point, while King is a very strong GPP play.  I like White’s price but he has been really lackluster recently so I think I will be fading him.  Wooten offers GPP upside with a pretty low floor.  Okoro interests me and might even make my cash build at just $3300.

For WSU, Franks and Elleby are always in play for GPP purposes with Elleby being my preference.  Cannon has upside but his price takes him out of play for me.  Wade and Robinson are GPP darts.  The rotation could be muddied if Skaggs, Pollard, and Daniels are in uniform tonight.

Preferred Plays:  Pritchard, King
