VIRGINIA TECH vs PENN ST
I really have this thing for Virginia Tech as I have both Alexander-Walker and Blackshear in my CBB dynasty league. For the most part, they have done me pretty well to begin this season for DFS purposes as well. I have some worries as there is a chance that Nolley makes his debut and Chris Clarke could have his suspension lifted at any moment. If Clarke is no longer suspended, I think you have to STRONGLY consider him as a $3000 play on FD. As it sits right now I want Alexander-Walker, Justin Robinson, and a share of both Wilkins and Outlaw. I want to believe that Blackshear will get back to his rebounding ways and this is the match-up where he is going to be needed, but at this point, I am more in a wait and see approach.
Penn St has been lead by Lamar Stevens to begin the season and he has been a DFS darling thus far. His price has come up quite a bit and now we are looking at the return of Mike Watkins. Right now I have most of my interest in Stevens on FD only. I like Reaves on DK thanks to their 3 point bonus, along with the -0.5 per turnover. Watkins is an interesting GPP play at $6000 on both sites as we just do not know his role yet. I will be using either Dread or Bolton on most of my teams tonight as neither guy is afraid of firing shots away. Should we hear that Watkins isn’t playing yet or that he will only see a handful of minutes, I will want some GPP exposure to Harrar.
ILLINOIS vs NOTRE DAME
When it comes to Illinois I do not think I will have much exposure, even though there is intrigue with some of the players at their prices on one site or the other. I think that Dosunmu is definitely in play on DK at just $6600, while I would also consider using Nichols and Williams on DK for GPPs. On FD I would consider Bezhanishvili and De La Rosa, who is at the minimum price point. The Illinois rotations are somewhat tough to figure out and I would only look to use them if you are comfortable in your prediction of minutes. De La Rosa started recently and its tough to find starters who are this cheap.
I feel like there was a huge error in the DK pricing algorithm when it comes to Notre Dame. I want exposure to a handful of players on DK tonight as Mooney, Gibbs, Hubb, and Goodwin all seem too cheap. I also think that Laszewski and Pflueger are viable options on either site. Going to be hard for me to not roster at least 2 of these guys on every DK lineup and at least 1 on every FD lineup tonight.
MICHIGAN ST vs LOUISVILLE
For Michigan St, my interest lies in the Big 3 guys on FD alone. I just am not a huge fan of the pricing on DK, even though I do think Ward is GPP viable over there. I think tonight is the night Ward could explode for one of those 40 fantasy point games, while I think Winston and Langford are solid and reliable at their FD price points.
There is not much to get excited about for Louisville as I think they are overpriced for the most part. Nwora is decently priced on FD and should be a solid cash play as his floor seems to be pretty high this season. I think Cunningham is a near lock on DK thanks to his $3700 price tag and his increase in minutes. VJ King is in play on FD as he is very talented and could explode for 25+ fantasy points at some point. Agau has GPP upside at his cheap price point on either site, however, I prefer him on FD tonight.

NEVADA vs LOYOLA-ILLINOIS
Nevada is an extremely talented and balanced team as they have a handful of guys that can go off on any given night. Caleb Martin is the safest, albeit most expensive, option for the Wolfpack. I love using Caroline on DK as he seems to be a near lock for a double-double on a nightly basis. Cody Martin intrigues me as a GPP play on DK and as an ownership pivot on FD off of the two guys above. Both Thurman and Johnson are very much in play for GPPs as both have shown very big ceilings to go along with pretty low floors if the other guys are going off.
Normally I would be off of Loyola as they generally try to grind out possessions and slow the game down, however they get the big pace boost taking on Nevada. My initial thought was that they are all priced a little too high for my general liking. For GPP purposes I do not mind getting exposure to Custer, Townes, Williamson, and Krutwig. Townes or Williamson is probably my preferred GPP play while Custer and Krutwig stand out as safe options for cash.
PITTSBURGH vs IOWA
For Pittsburgh, I want exposure to Johnson, Ellison, and Toney. I think there is merit to having a share of Brown and Chukwuka in GPPs as they can certainly pay off at their price points. I am not sure what to do with Wilson-Frame as he has shown GPP winning upside while recently struggling and losing a few minutes. Tonight might be the night to jump on him and hope for a turnaround.
When it comes to Iowa, I will be using one of Garza, Cook, Bohannon, and McCaffrey tonight. Iowa is tied for the highest projected team total tonight and that alone makes any of those guys an option. All of them have shown GPP type upside and their price points are pretty easy to swallow.
NC STATE vs WISCONSIN
For the Wolfpack, I will have some Lockett, Funderburk, and Bryce on FD. When it comes to DK I would add Beverley to those three. NC State has one of the lowest team totals on the slate so its tough to want to pay up for a guy like Dorn, even though he certainly has the upside at his price point. I have this hunch that Funderburk attacks the boards a lot tonight and puts up an out of nowhere double-double.
Happ is putting up massive numbers this season and I expect those numbers to continue tonight as NC State lacks any kind of size to deal with him on either end of the floor. Iverson appears to be a pretty safe cash type play as he does a little bit of everything. If Trice is going to continue to fire away from 3 point land, I will have to use him for GPPs on DK. Davison has GPP winning upside at his depressed price tag and should be considered a somewhat safe cash game option on DK.
TEMPLE vs MISSOURI
Temple has the lowest projected team total on the night and that annoys me because I want to use Alston, Rose, or Pierre-Louis. At least one of those three is going to exceed value tonight and I would lean towards the cheaper of three on each site. I think you can consider using Perry as a GPP flier as he has shown 30+ fantasy point upside without having to score many game points.
I have basically zero interest in Missouri on FD as their price points just do not interest me. Sounds like Geist is going to play which could eliminate some value from Missouri. I do not mind Geist at all should he officially be in the starting lineup. I think Puryear is a near GPP lock on DK thanks to his $4600 price point, while I also think that Tillmon is GPP viable at just $5000.
INDIANA vs DUKE
Should Green and McRoberts be out for Indiana, I will look to get exposure to Morgan, Langford, Phinisee, and Durham in a game that should be extremely fast-paced. Morgan and Phinisee are my preferred options. I prefer to use Morgan and Langford on FD while using Phinisee and Durham on DK.
Duke has the highest projected team total on the slate and we are going to need exposure to them as they are the late game hammer. On DK I think the GPP play is to use Reddish and Jones while fading Williamson and Barrett. White and Bolden are certainly in play on DK as GPP options, while Bolden is also in play on FD. I will be getting my exposure to Williamson and Barrett on FD as they are much cheaper over there. I do not mind DeLaurier as a GPP punt on either site, with my preference being on FD.
