There are a lot of injury concerns on this three-game slate today. Extra care is necessary to navigate the land mines successful. While this article will cover must of the injury news we are aware of at the moment, it is important to watch careful close to lock for other potential late breaking news. For now, let’s dive in!

  • Dallas Wings @ Connecticut Sun

Liz Cambage is out, and Skylar Diggins-Smith faces the dangerous Sun guard defense. Other players on this team will need to step up for the Wings tonight. Glory Johnson is going through one of those spans where she doesn’t get minutes. She is a strictly GPP dart. Playing her is basically taking a shot in the dark that something changes today. Azura Stevens and Theresa Plaisance are the main plays here for the Wings. They are playable in all formats today. Cayla George likely gets the start at center and makes for a good GPP value play.

The Sun are a good team to target here, beginning with the centers. Without Cambage, both Chiney Ogwumike and Jonquel Jones would have a great time down low. They are both GPP only plays however, because of inconsistency in production from Ogwumike and in minutes from Jones. Alyssa Thomas makes for a great low owned stud on a slate that features a lot of big names. She makes for a nice ownership play today. You can fire up both Jasmine Thomas and Courtney Williams in all formats. Williams is the preferred play here as she has a better matchup. Shekinna Stricklen can be utilized as a punt play, but this is not something I like.

  • Chicago Sky @ Minnesota Lynx

Stefanie Dolson gets another shot at the Lynx. I doubt this goes any different from the two previous shots. I’m staying as far away as possible from Dolson. However, it should be noted that the matchup is an exploitable one. Cheyenne Parker and Gabby Williams are fully splitting minutes at the 4 now, which limits both their upsides in this matchup. You can use one or the other as a GPP shot but be cautious. Diamond DeShields offers a solid floor but a limited ceiling here, making her a solid Cash play. Finally, both Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot are in play here against the weak Lynx guard defense. Of course, Vandersloot is the preferred option.

Everyone on the Lynx is in play today in GPPs, due to the Sky being the team that gives up the most fantasy points to opponents. Ranking at the top or near the top in all categories. Sylvia Fowles and Maya Moore highlight the plays today and are playable in all formats. Cecilia Zandalasini and Seimone Augustus make for GPP punt plays. Probably the best GPP play here is Tanisha Wright. She is getting 30+ minutes with Robinson out, and this is as good a matchup for her to put those minutes to use.

  • New York Liberty @ Los Angeles Sparks

Tina Charles is the top play here for the Liberty. Of course, we are all well aware of her inconsistency, but she remains a solid GPP play. With Amanda Zahui B out, and Kia Vaughn not 100%, Kiah Stokes makes for an excellent value play in all formats. Another great value play here is Rebecca Allen, who keeps getting minutes at SF, even with Marissa Coleman probable. The only other play here for me is Kia Nurse. Mainly because she is cheap and can reach be utilized as a value play. For the other Liberty guards, the matchup is brutal, and their upside is extremely limited. If one of them beats me today, so be it.

Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike lead the Sparks today. Parker is the preferred option due to her recent form and the matchup. That said, they are both playable in all formats. Chelsea Gray is another important play in this game. She is in a good spot and will go underowned due to being in that guard dead zone where people either go for higher-priced or lower-priced guards. The final all format play here is Riquana Williams who makes for a very good value play. Expect her ownership to be high, but she provides one of the best values on the slate. Alana Beard ad Odyssey Sims are potential GPP punt plays.
